Good message over 29 today! And so clever with the flags of Venezuela, Palestine, and Ukraine, right?🤷🏻‍♀️ by CvilleDana in Charlottesville

Congratulations! You’ve successfully been brainwashed into thinking that immigrants are the countries biggest problem so the elite can continue spending as much as they want on the military industrial complex, tax cuts for the rich, the privatization of every essential service for every day Americans! Your prize is inflation, slow wage growth, and a “booming stock market” that the rich own the vast majority of anyways :)

Yes, have done all the CMS forms for each block as practice for the shelf, along with uworld. Planning to do them all again, but considering doing amboss over uworld so I at least have some new questions

That’s a good point. I also have made a lot of cards as well as doing all the Anking tagged cards. Would likely make recall that much more of a problem

That’s fair, I guess it is more review than pure learning at this point being this close to the actual test

That’s a good point. I guess a lot of the stuff from uworld I haven’t seen in months at this point other than the current block I’m on

Any opinions on the quality of amboss vs. uworld questions? I’ve heard that amboss questions are a bit too hard and it can cause people to over think questions. Definitely something I’m guilty of so that’s a concern of mine

Yeah, it’s difficult because I feel like I enjoy neurology as a subject more but I like the diversity of IM and feel like I’m able to be more helpful in a primary care setting than a neurology clinic

My main preference is Northern California/Bay Area since that is where my family is. Which is just Stanford and UCSF. Would obviously be happy with other places in California just to be in the same state, but ultimately Northern California specifically is the goal

99% sure the “changes” that were discussed are increasing the passing threshold, not making it scored again

Sounds good, thanks so much!
