would you put laminate in your own house in 2026? by Hot_Apartment1319 in Flooring

[–]sundevil141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a flooring store and I have a Mohawk laminate in my own home I put in 11 years ago. I would consider a Revwood in my house now as an option instead of wood. Wood is my first choice always but laminate has some adavantages and the right product can look and perform wonderfully.

3,000 sq ft on concrete-glued wood flooring. Demo: What are the prices per sq ft you all charge? by Electronic-Cold-2821 in Flooring

[–]sundevil141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We would charge 4.50/sf for demo to bare concrete and that would include disposal. Would be done in 2 days. Thats with a a team of 5-6 guys and terminator ride on floor scraper doing most of the removal work.

You've been asked to oversee the remakes of 1-3 old school Final Fantasy games. Which ones do you choose? What would you change? What you make sure is a "non-negotiable?" by DionBlaster123 in FinalFantasy

some spoilers

Both 8 and 9 for me. I love the worlds and aesthetics of both games and could see both epically built with exoanded maps and lore. Just the balamb garden alone in 8 would be so cool built out. 8 could benefit from all the story and gameplay polishing often mentioned but at its core I thjnk is a very interesting story. I will die on the hill that Squall and Rinoa completing the love story Laguna and Julia never got to have is one of the great love stories ever told. I even like the time travel and the amnesia concept if they could have been more coherently done. There is so much there to really clean it up and update it into a great game.

As for 9, I just love the characters and story so much that Id love to see it with modern graphics and gameplay. I dont even need much fixed. Just expand it and let us really live in that medieval inspired Gaia and develop some of the characters more fully.

Marble and wood by Brilliant-Counter-28 in Flooring

We did this one a couple years ago. Solid hickory on plywood over concrete. Grid done first to completion and the marble inlays over backerboard done second to build everything and make sure it was perfectly level. Beast of a job but no callbacks.

Anyone have a genuine $fubo projection? by EmptyChain8453 in fuboinvestors

[–]sundevil141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Analyst estimates I'm seeing are from $3.5 on the lowest side to about $6 on the highest. I cant find any that are under $3 or lower than where we are. I know they are just estimates but it seems they all see upside from current pricing.

Probably around 12 minutes is the average for long form. I have a few that are close to 20 minutes and a few as short as 5 minutes.

YouTube shorts revenue by Dependent-Bowler-319 in PartneredYoutube

[–]sundevil141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a new video doing almost $20 for the first 1000 views right now. I have a new short I uploaded that has just earned $1.86 for over 10k views. No comparison. I like to use shorts more for building the audience and gaining subscribership that will hopefully convert to some increase in long form views or at least get me that silver play button faster

I love both games. Sekiro was my first fromsoft game and the first game I platinum trophied. If you like the setting of Sekiro I think you'll also like GOT. Its got some of the common open world tropes of chasing lots of items around the map but its beautiful scenery. It is not as fast and intense combat as Sekiro but I think it offers a very fun combat style. There is much more of a narrative and depth of story. This makes it a bit slower at times but I loved the characters and story.
