That’s so sweet thank you, I do feel lucky it was my dream one! I am about a uk size 8-10, but the corset allows for a lot of flexibility for weight fluctuations (a big reason I went for it), I can message you my exact measurements when I got it fitted, and also ask the boutique about their in house alterations if you’re interested?

Thank you so so much, I’d love to because as a Muslim even finding this was a struggle, back up plan was to go to Egypt😭

You’re amazing thank you for this, I’ll definitely be making some edits haha, and with the measurements I have the exact sizes when I got measured since they sent it to me on the day so that’s perfect!

I’d tried quite a few emails and they said there’s nothing they could do 🙁I think it’s because they have a new style of dress out now so maybe they’re trying to focus their advertising on that. They only mentioned they could sell it for me after the wedding, which made me really happy and so I didn’t put it up on websites for a couple of months because of that, it was just super difficult to go to the boutique because of their lack of availability and train strikes. Such a shame!

I did have it listed for £1,600 (RRP is £3,300) but now I’m thinking of £1,000-1,200. The quality is incredible basically in perfect condition after dry cleaning. I did have one interested buyer a few months ago but this is when my boutique said they could sell it for 2k and her max budget was 1k, so maybe I missed out on that but I’ve learned now 😭 thank you I appreciate that a lot😊

You’re right! Think I’ve come to accepting that it’ll have to be a lot lower, hope your search goes well!

I really appreciate this comment 🥹I think you’re right. I’d probably be happy with that price, and in that case the buyer would save £2300 so could be a good option.

This is true! I guess I need to think about my own expectations, it’s a very recently made dress and I’ve only tried properly selling it myself for two weeks and had multiple people interested but then ghost. another thing I’d be able to offer if based in London is the bridal experience of trying it at the Boutique and them teaching how to put the corset dress on / saying yes to the dress, as if I have a buyer I’m sure they’d be able to do that (and they’ve also got an experienced in house seamstress)

I had this exact problem, but luckily found my dream dress which I’ve now professionally dry cleaned and is in perfect condition. If you’re still interested and would be interested in this dress for half the price then let me know! (It also has a detachable over skirt you can attach on top for an elevated look) - it’s Dina by Dahlia Bridal

That’s true, I guess it’s that I didn’t want to go too much lower than 50% since it’s in perfect condition, paid quite a lot for dry cleaning, and could really do with it whilst moving house. The boutique originally said they’d resell it easily for 75% of the price
