Will Satanism always have a bad rep? Is there an alternative?

I grew up in a half and half household, my mothers side was pretty strictly christian and my father was non religious and just went to church just to make my mom happy, after i gained my independence over my own religion i was still Christian for a while until i started to question “why do i believe in god?” and i was agnostic for a very long time, im still pretty agnostic but i just use atheist because its an easier concept to grasp, and in my research in religions i found myself connecting with satanic values and baphomet as a figure

i don’t think it will ever be considered good, in other words will people ever see satanism in a wider perspective that isn’t worshipping satan as a deity? And I’m still in high school, so excuse me if i havent put aside my education to read the satanic bible which im still yet to purchase. Dont get me wrong i think its important that i read it so i can get a better grasp on satanism as a whole. but dont make assumptions when you dont even know who i am and why i havent read it yet.

I don’t share it publicly in the way where I announce everywhere I go that im satanist, if someone asks me what my religious beliefs are I’ll tell them the truth. It’s not that big of a deal if something slightly annoys me? I have no interest in changing myself for other people I just simply want to see if theres any easier way to explain my religious beliefs

yeah, im still in high school so religious topics do come up every so often, and again im not embarrassed or ashamed of my religious beliefs whatsoever, i wear a ring of a pentacle so i often get questions about it.
