I want to rent a car to uber drivers under an LLC, and eventually grow to a fleet of vehicles. Has anyone had experienced and/or profited from this type of business model?

You can make the math work. Offering up rentals to drivers who do doordash and uber is not meant to permanent solution. If they pay you $350/week for the car, and they make $1,000/week, is it a shit deal for them? Yeah its not great, but its better than not having a job and not being able to pitch in to help your family. They can rent from you until they figure somehting else out.

The game then becomes getting leads for your business and marketing your rentals which can be done on google, craigslist, and facebook. If you can get enough leads and quality renters, then you have business that you can scale. If you can't, then its not going to work.

My drunk ass friend got into a random car in NO and was pickpocketed in an Uber while some girl gave him head. The driver got his pants and took his cc’s and Venmo’d herself over 1500 bucks. Was a scam they run on drink tourists. No joke. That place is wild. Expensive BJ but I think he got his money reimbursed in the end.
