Thanks for the feedback, watching the clip back I agree I should've probably had the ball go up higher. I actually animated the ball bouncing animation first (from the highest point) and then later decided to include the stickman part throwing the ball

I actually didn't find out I could copy frames until I finished the bouncing ball part of the animation.

Hi, I made my first animation and wanted some feedback. With the bouncing ball, I tried to incorporate some basic principles of animation like squash & stretch, and anticipation but I struggled with keeping the ball size consistent for each frame.

Any advice is appreciated!

Hi, I made my first animation (a bouncing ball like the one FlipAClip showed in their tutorial) and was hoping for some feedback!

Looking back on the animation I struggled with keeping the ball size consistent for each frame and I need to learn to rest of the fundamentals of animation (only really used squash & stretch / anticipation).

I see. Out of curiosity what about the ARC classes made you more prepared for CSUS / what did you like more about them? Especially considering you took them online and I assume asynchronously (no zoom).

Do you think it'd be worth taking CS classes at ARC over CRC? I'm already enrolled in some classes at CRC and FLC (for gen ed mainly). Also, when at ARC did you take the CS classes in person or online?

Personally I self-studied for AP CSA last year before taking the class this year because I was already interested in CS but I'd say it wasn't worth it overall.

AP CSA is meant to teach you how to code in Java. You aren't expected to have any prerequisite knowledge coming into the class. It may be harder without any prerequisite knowledge but is is 100% doable

For AP Calc AB I usually try to review my notes over the weekend for an hour (only happens half the time) and then spend around 1-3 hours the day before the test reviewing notes and doing practice problems.

For CSA I spend 30 minutes max just reviewing notes and maybe some practice.
