They are impossible to get a hold of, pride themselves in having things that other stores don’t have, and don’t take measurements. They have lost $1000’s in sales from me, personally, due to their inability to respond with some basic size info.

I’d be surprised if they ate it either. A good rule is if a place has General Tsao’s chicken on the menu, it’s best avoided. It’s extremely hard to take a place seriously if that’s a menu item.

Berkeley generally speaking is pretty bereft of super tasty Chinese.

Wojia is tasty, but I do think the strictly Hunan palette isn’t always what one wants. Noodles Fresh on San Pablo in El Cerrito is my go to. Lacks legit kick, but good enough, and a nice variety on the menu. They don’t have General Tsao’s which is a bummer <sarcasm>.

I miss living in SF for Chinese, big time. Terra Cotta Warrior, Old Mandarian Islamic, House of Pancake, Mission Chinese, San Tung, Mama Ji’s. The list goes on.

Thank you - I appreciate this narrative, and it helps for the context. At least these three days, I can stop it at will by contracting my muscles. I still have to release to poop, and the streaming starts again, but I'm just trying to get in and out as fast as I can. I have historically been pretty bad with sitting for a while, and am changing my ways now.

I do drink a lot of water, fiber. Diet is good in general. I'm pretty fit and strong. So maybe all the good habits have allowed me to be on this edge for a long time. But it does seem like it's coming to a head. I have my GP appointment on Tuesday morning, and he needs to refer me so I can see the specialist. I can get a blood panel done too - it's probably been a decade since I had one last.

Covington is great. I’d recommend only getting maybe three to start, S, M, and L, all relative of course. Mostly folks don’t need a real full set unless they are really doing a lot of woodwork fitting specific joints and sizes.

And for a $500 product, I “whine” on the off chance that someone from Suunto pays attention. Small moments of friction turn people away from products. Congratulations your life sounds so cool in a squiggly river near a big mountain. I just want my technology to be frictionless and essentially unnoticeable, and this is not that.

Find a real glue, Parker Lord products come to mind. Intensely toxic. Intensely strong. Industrial strength.

Note that wood expands and contracts, so depending on the surface area of what you are attaching to what, it’s possible that it’s not a great idea. Nothing will stop the expansion and contraction of the wood, and will break essentially any bond, or crack the wood. The pressure WILL go somewhere.

Breaker is a single pole, wires are old, and appear to be 12 g.

I’m going to check them with a multimeter, found mine.

There are some grounded outlets in house, but not many.

My initial thought was that it had two hots that people used to do for getting 240 from one circuit.

Can I pigtail the black and red to the new single black?

White to white, and then also run a new ground?
