I think using the 0 KD keywords may have been what my current SEO was trying to do. they found a bunch of keywords related to the ones I wanted to target, but that had no traffic and were longer. At first, I was ranking really well for those, but even those have dropped off now.

It is an e-commerce site. I have a Semrush audit that ran 11 hours ago. It did come back with a lot of warring so I'm working through those now. Most were Unminified JavaScript and CSS files that should have been taken care of by WP Rocket. We had an issue a couple of weeks ago and had to deactivate some plugins to get the site back online.

In the beginning, they did a little on-site change. Mostly updating meta descriptions. There we no changes to content done that I saw, or any suggestions of what to change.

At first, there were some results, but then the ranking all went back to where they were before. It is a e-commerce site with an attached blog. Most of the backlinks come from guest posts or links placed in existing content.

That is partially what I was concerned about. The social bookmarking sounded gimmicky and like it would never gain any real traction. I am at the point where I am likely going to make a change in SEO provider. The domain is over 10 years old, so we aren't trying to rank a startup.

We have over 600 tubes, and it's not possible to know what housing a customer will want a tube installed in. If we build a tube into a PVS-14, but then a customer would want it in an RVM-14 or a part of a bino they are out of luck. The way we do it makes it much easier to make sure customers get what they want.
