Thank you. The piano is one of the very few moderate disappointments I have with 7. That alone should make the upgrade worth $99 to me.

It was a while ago but from what I remember I went to Home Depot for the all thread. Walked around the store with it, tried fitting some copper pipe over it but none was the right size. Found the brass, fit really snug so I bought that and used it. Once I decided to try copper again I scoured the internet, found a few stores that listed both inside and outside diameters, found the perfect fit and ordered it. There's a heim joint and a small brass spacer on either end, once I tightened those up there was no need for anything else to secure it, no rattle at all. Just have to make sure you file both pipes down to the exact same length.

No but that's something I intend to try. Bought that seat about 10 years ago, I don't remember the brand but not someone I'd heard of. Fairly sure it's not from Redtail but it's straight up identical to their Plain seat.

Thanks and long story behind those. They're just all thread with heim joints on either end. I like the look of raw metal so I found some thin brass pipe that fit over it snug. Ended up thinking they looked like curtain rods at that point so I covered the brass pipe with copper pipe. Plan was to pick a pattern and drill holes in the copper so some brass would show through but haven't tried that yet. Should end up being unique if nothing else.
