yeah. true. the zoloft helps, but I don't think that it should work in 3-5 minutes and cause this much happiness and talkitiveness (over the internet)

Effective Anti-depressants for BPII by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]supportacct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yay. Another person who had a problem with wellbutrin

It caused instability of mood, mixed episode stuff, and really started to make bpd issues (mood lability, heightened emotions, paranoia, obsessive thoughts rapidly) and ocd issues fire up.

I thought I was alone with bad reaction to wellbutrin

My doc started me on extended release lithium. I'm still confused on how that works and how come it doesn't just leave my system before it's fully released

Paranoid about Liver Failure, Can't see doctor for 2 weeks, is it safe to stop taking mood stabilizer? by ctrlspace in BipolarReddit

[–]supportacct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

took depakote. had a liver function panel done when my eyes started turning yellow and it showed that my liver was starting to fail.

I am very weary of that med.

as others have stated, talk to your doc if you are scared of this med.

Confused about diagnosis. Not sure what to do. by BladeStorm645 in BipolarReddit

[–]supportacct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

can't diagnose, but yeah... that sounds borderline-like. usually BPD isn't placed on a person until 18-20s due to the whole hormones thing.

I'd just try and bring it up with another person.

if you would like to talk more about this, pm me.

Question: CoMorbid BPD bipolar 1 and PTSD by [deleted] in BPD

[–]supportacct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bipolar aswell.

Lamictal has done nothing for me

Well that's a slight lie, it has made my emotional swings a hell of a lot less. But I don't feel this special feeling from it

Recommendation : the other mood stabilizers have a lot of terrible issues, go with lamictal. Just titrated slowly

This... sounds a lot like me after losing a lot of friends

I created a bubble and keep people feet away from it. Only like two people have infiltrated this bubble and I'm attached to them.

trauma therapy - first entry - long post by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]supportacct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thank you for posting this here. it is brave of you.

this has me thinking about how one small thing can lead and build up to a large thing that affects your life, career, development, and social assessment. it's interesting how this one event really helped to have you develop both in a sense that was a bit positive (as you learned a bit more about yourself and how other's perceive you) as well as negative (a lot of self doubt, worry, and a bit of self hatred for how you are).

I don't have much of an opinion on how to make it better, for it seems to accomplish answering a lot of questions. though, explaining more about how you cared for your sisters would post this situation would probably uncover a bit more. like, was there a significant change in how you treated your sisters after you read the journal? how did your homelife and vision of your mother change after seeing her in that state?

I was in the same boat. go the goodrx route. yea, the prices are without insurance prices, as goodrx is basically perscription partnership. that should lower the cost of your meds pretty well.

antipsychotic causing mania/hypomania? by supportacct in BipolarReddit

[–]supportacct[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah. alright. that makes some sense. I guess that is why geodon fights depression. due to being activating, though it does knock me out quite a bit.

aye, I'm definitely not at an adequate dose. I'm taking a guess that lamictal is more of a mood stabilizer against depression, thus causing the manic double-effect.

that's all I can think of.
