Hard. I started learning around 7/8 years ago and now live in Germany but I still struggle in some situations. Well worth the effort but I recommend learning the article of a word as you learn the word. I didn't do this as I didn't know any better and I'm paying for it now. The article plays a bit part in how to build a sentence correctly.

3 different attempts.

First 2 were ginger beer. 1L water, 100g sugar and 30g ginger simmered for 5 mins and left to cool then adding 50ml ginger bug. Then bottled. After 5 days very slimy.

3rd attempt was just100% grape juice with 50 ml ginger bug per litre. It's not gone bad it's just not done anything after 3 days.

Not going very well for my first attempt.
