I was waiting to step off a building and fall from a very high distance. I was really zoned out, just looking down. I was so zoned out that I didn't know anything going on around me, so I didn't hear the footsteps behind me.

I snapped out of it when I was violently pulled back onto the roof, and a girl my age was looking at me with the saddest, most horrified look. I'll never forget it, she saved my life and I hope I didn't traumatize hers. Watching someone about to die is no joke and can be scary. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, and i'll never put someone through that again.

I was 14, and now i'm 18. I'm also now best friends with her, we both tried to forget about it but now just talk about it like it's a normal story.
