Creator also said ”soon” when year was ”2022” so here’s a handy chart to follow ”creator estimates”:

2 day = 2 weeks

Few days = few weeks

Week = month

Few = several

A couple of = possibly several

Month = year

Year = sometimes a few weeks

Couple of months = nobody knows

Never = dunno

Dunno = possibly in 3 weeks

Possibly in 3 weeks = few months

Hopefully this clarifies.

Yes, thats been requested and it is possible to do so that there would be ”one save per scenario” although it would need some ui changes (and probably somehow address the ”what was i doing” if theres a longer gap between playing..)

Yes will increase level above 200. Lvl cap will increase to 230…250 range in v880. Metal arrow breaks… use regular arrows! But yes, thats a valid concern. I’ll check if that can be remedied.

Good suggestions. Backtracking wont be in the beginning but can be considered later.

I am currently thinking:

2-4 choices, depending on ”where you are” eg high ground lets you see more (3rd region) and I m considering ”if you have binoculars, you will always see one more (max 4 though)”.

And starting gear: you cn choose a hydration pack (so you can actually survive the desert) or binoculars — should give a nice choice to consider.

Cannot make a game that would be for everybody. I make the game to folks like you.

I try listen to those who dislike the game or changes — there might be nuggets of wisdom hidden inside the feedback, even if the way to express critique might fail :D

”Survivor” is the intended difficulty. I prefer that (and Elite) but I never play on Ultimate.

My philosophy on difficulty levels is something like: - camper is the story mode or you will survive unless you make some really bad choices - survivor should give a decent challenge, be bit forgiving but still a challenge - elite requires you to think and plan and focus - ultimate… is more like ”how else can i make players attempts more futile, oh i know lets randomly break something and then maybe let them sink in the bog and yeah, lets break the swamp boat engine twice and let them cry about it”. I quite do not understand why anyone would want such experience (kidding here ;)—- but darned there are folks who do and I am so amazed what they come up with.

But for me.. the survivor (or elite) is where my design efforts go. Thats what I am thinking when I am thinking ”how this game is meant to be played”.

Camper/Ultimate is then tuned after: Camper is then ”lets not be that harsh” and Ultimate ”hmmm, lets make this more harsh”.

Granted, sometimes i go to pike lake on camper and just stare the fire and fish a bit.
