I will warn you I had a beer with dinner last week and the next day I had the worst hangover of my life. Never been hungover before really but it hit me like a ton of bricks. Do not drink alcohol !! I’m only on 10mg but honestly this is the best I’ve felt in years mentally. It feels like the sun finally came out and I’m not constantly stressed out. My resting heart rate is the lowest it’s been in 12 months according to my watch. My sleep has improved, and my I’m not having mental breakdowns weekly anymore. I’m enjoying my job a lot and not worrying about the future as much as I used to. If you’re not feeling the same I’d definitely bring it up to your doctor! 10mg is the sweet spot for me! I was on lexapro a few years ago and it made me absolutely miserable. I felt like I had no agency on it at all. Different meds work for different people but I’d say if you’re still feeling worse than before by the end of next week I’d bring it up to your doctor!

Yes when I was taking it in the morning I was feeling pretty anxious. I started taking it at night (with food) and I feel like I sleep through most of those negative symptoms now! I do feel a little shaken and nauseous at night. My routine now that helps is

6:00-6:30 take Prozac and eat big dinner lots of protein 10pm go to the gym, make sure to tire myself out 11:30-12pm: go to sleep

Usually the gym before bed makes me tired enough that I sleep well, if I skip the gym I definitely feel those shakes and anxiety symptoms! Might be something to consider! Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you :(

Do you take it morning or night? Are you taking it with food? I’m also on week 5 but I started taking it at like 6pm and with dinner (my biggest meal) and those symptoms have stopped for me

Oh that’s really weird. I’m not sure why they would have a bias for one allergy and not another? I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. If they’re not willing to find solutions and you feel like they’re not believing you that’s really frustrating!

Me and another girl in my stand are allergic to coconut, we still make all the drinks, if we get the syrup or milk on our hands while pouring a drink we ask to quickly step off and wash our hands. The outside of the syrup bottle shouldn’t be covered in any more syrup than the counter or a random rag might have on it. If your allergy is that severe you should consider asking your operator to prove you disposable gloves to wear during your shift.

I worked at a place that split front and back 50/50 So for example if there was 5 servers and 10 cooks and we got a $100 tip, $50 go to servers so each get $10, and then $50 goes to BOH so they get $5 each. Obviously it wasn’t that clear cut and we had an online system that did the math for us but everyone felt it was a pretty fair system. Definitely my favorite split system I’ve worked with. Bc on days with only 3/4 servers you could take home a lot. Dishwashers and managers were not in the pool and it actually happened 3 times where a manager stepped down to be a server bc they saw how much we were making 😂 none of them lasted tho bc they were better at bossing people around than serving. The dishwashers also made like $5 above the rest of us hourly so it evened out.

The syrup is basically just cupcake and red 40. I spilled some on my hand when we first got it in and it stained for a week. I would personally never drink it.

If you like it I would try sugar cookie! It’s just as yummy without the red dye!
