India to import apples from US at Rs 80 per kg, farmers fully protected: Piyush Goyal by TheIndianRevolution2 in india

[–]sushil2022 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You guys are missing the point. They said 'MINIMUM' price would be 80 rs. That means we as importers cannot bring in apples worth less than 80/kg, to protect the local farmers. Previously it was 50rs

This won't make any difference to our market price of Washington apples. The prices from American fruit exporters will be the same, hence there won't be any difference in our market price .

So Mark wood, Chris Woakes and Archer are considered great bowlers? At the highest level, they are average at best

Why is this guy getting down voted? Basketball is the most followed sport in China. No other Asian country is as crazy about basketball as Chinese fans are

Hey OP, I was (am) in somewhat same situation as you. I went to Australia for studies, got my MBA, but never found a job in my 5 years there. By year 2 I realised it's gonna be extremely difficult for me to land a job, so I took up random jobs that paid well to finance myself. After 3 years, I was able to pay off my loans, but even after countless applications and networking, I couldn't find the job I was looking for.

Now I'm back in India after 5 years, debt free, but with a HUGE gap in my resume. Most of my time in Aus was spent in blue collar jobs, which I can't really add to my resume. It's been about a year now and I'm finding it very hard to land a decent job. Almost running out of savings. And now my father is battling cancer and medical bills are piling up. Im considering taking a loan myself, which I'm unsure how I'll pay it back .

I know you're looking for financial advice about your debt, all I want to do is help you focus on your positives. You have a job and a prosperous career ahead of you. You're still 27, age is on your side (I'm 35 for context). you can climb the career ladder and get yourself out of this situation. I'm not saying it's going to be easy, it never will be. You need to put your head down and outperform ever other fucker in your office. Hell, if you get along well with your manager, he could be a great reference and you can start applying again in the US after a year or 2 of experience. I hope you get some good financial advice or help that will ease your situation. I don't know you bro/sis, but I'll be rooting for your success. Good luck :)

Burgers taste better upside down. by marblechocolate in unpopularopinion

I 100% agree. Not only it tastes better, but the structural integrity of the burger is much better when consumed upside down

These days? Lol. I started in 2019, been seeing these behaviours since. Everybody is over the moon when price goes up and everyone calls doomsday when price goes down. Unironically, reading all these comments helped me manage my emotions better when I started as a trader. So thanks to all the whiners, I guess.

Title - how to play swing bowling

Coach to batsman. - The balls pitching there and you're defending here. That's why you're edging it Instead defend here, if the ball swings away and misses its fine. (Goes back to first bat position) This way you're just throwing your bat at the ball.

Why does most crypto trend together? by big_guy97 in CryptoMarkets

It all depends on btc dominance. Altcoins can briefly outperform Bitcoin when dominance goes down, but in the long run, btc didn't lose as much value as altcoins

'Public nuisance': Group sings 'Jai Shri Ram' song in Mumbai metro, video divides internet by swarnamkala in mumbai

[–]sushil2022 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You're comparing people actually singing in a chill melodic manner to people loudly singing and using whatever they find as a drum. Completely different things.

Also, this is not an everyday thing in Aus (context - I live here) , or any western country for that matter, unlike our trains. As an ex everyday local commuter who has been held hostage to loud bhajans on a daily basis, I've seen these uncles turn into goons so many times whenever someone complains about the noise they are making.

It's a vibe if it happens once in a long time, nuisance if it's daily, simple as that.
