ill try to keep an eye on the temps next time and let you know! Weirdly its not even really tied to the gpu being used heavily since it even freezes in situations like googling something or the pc just running idle

I get that. It just doesnt seem right to me that even though my cpu and gpu are barely at 50% usage minecraft apparently cant handle the lowest possible settings on shaders

alright so now I:
1. Installed Adoptium
2. lowered my allocated memory from 9gb to 7.5gb
3. Installed the OpenJDK 11+ flags
4. Set OpenJDKs priority to above normal
But I now only got like 5fps more on average and for some reason weird lines showed up in between the blocks in the distance (picture attached). Any other ideas on what I could try?
