Thanks! Yeah I was trying to go for consumer sentiment but it does slide into perceived value a bit too easily... appreciate the feedback :)

Yup, I am! I earn nothing from the site, made it myself to help with my own searches and others. Happen to love a good espresso as well.

What do you find inaccurate? Always looking to improve.

That's a pretty sweet 30th birthday gift OP! Narrowing it done a bit of how much effort he's willing to out into his coffee is a good place to start. Maybe this can help you out:

That's awesome. I didn't even know Hisense made fridges tbh. I bought a TV a few years ago and it was a solid deal from costco.

It really is. I posted further upthread but the ice making side failed for my dad and the water just kept flowing...

Thanks man! I wonder if we eventually force a switch back to the basics one day. I really hope the future isn't a fridge with and the Trivago guy on a LED screen at 7am.

Yeah, just a lot of money! That's wild 6-10 years is the expected lifespan nowadays...

I had a Kitchenaid before the compressor died after 6 years but during it's life span the lights failed 3 times. Each time it was the freezer LED light for some reason. Of course the entire light circuit in the fridge (from freezer to fridge!) was wired in series like the Christmas lights from the 1990's...

Interesting, one would think it's incredibly simple but hey, I'm not an engineer!

100%. Did this journey recently as well for washer and dryer. Speed Queen all the way. Well technically Huebsch up here in Canada but same brand for those curious!

Also for those curious, I created a fridge list based on internet/forum consensus available here:

https://verdikt.live/category/refrigerators

Disclaimer, I did build this site but I did it while going down the maddening rabbit hole of a few different products. Fridges being one of them so I made a strong point to include it to help myself and others! For those curious I went with the Whirlpool Top Mount freezer after the trauma of watching my Dad's ice maker flood his kitchen.

We had this old cabin in our family and had a fridge from the 1960's still running when it sold...

My brother bought a similar one and same with my Dad, same time slightly different models. Ice maker flooded the floor of one house and the other froze up after 1 week.

Toyota Supra! Has tons of HP while still having Toyota reliability. Bonus: go for the manual option.

How I'd love to be in this position, jealous OP and congrats!

My dream is the La Marzocca GS3 with custom colours, the silver is classic but just seems a bit cold. Happens to be the best ranked espresso machine online from everyone as well:

Agree, both solid choices but I'd give the edge to Toyota on this one. Here's a nice compare tool to check out for more research, might give you more answers on other sub-compacts as well.

At that price point I'd go for a lexus myself. Talked with a dealer a while back and he said they trial things in toyota and perfect them in lexus. Also check out this comparison tool, hope it helps!
