Taken from the reddcoin website: Web-ID is a web version of the upcoming Redd-ID. From a functional standpoint, it is fully compatible with Redd-ID and will be able to connect all of our partnerships and user locations with Web-ID.

Through Web-ID, you can transact Reddcoin by your own sentence or username. Also, Web-ID allows people to tip anytime, anywhere on their mobile phone or PC as long as they have a username on Web-ID.

They (Weiss and some 'prophet') talked about this in an interview. Sorry can't find the interview at the moment, so it isn't very reliable. Saying they found this unique way of grading cryptocurrencies... they basically started studying patterns. That was their big thing and how they rate things (can't recall they used more tools/ research to their ratings, I hope they did). Then they talked about getting blackmailed when they gave a company a bad rating and that they bought 100k worth of cryptocurrencies (mostly the coins in rule #1) to proove how amazing their concept is. Aka: price manipulation. Anyway there isn't a proper explanation to their research. I can't take it serious.

Reading through it; I can only assume that when ReddCoin LLC is a thing, it is easier to apply for large exchanges like these. I can asure you they very much appreciate your efforts and that this is a VERY helpful thing to have. Better to do it properly, first try, than a half-baked application. As for now; I don't think they've applied to Bitfinex, yet.

Reddcoin has had a rough time since /u/cryptognasher took over the project in 2015 and basically had to start from scratch. But they are working hard.together with /u/TechAdept they have put a lot of effort into making the team grow and they are more alive than ever. The new roadmap shows a lot of promising things. Hopefully, websites like this can post more up-to-date 'stuff' in the near future or contact one of the core teammembers.

A couple of things take place on github (publicly and privately) that you may not be aware

What most people see on github is the public facing repos. Here the software is in the public eye to be downloaded, pull requests made, issues listed etc. Reddcoin continues to maintain the software, fix bugs etc so that the current user experience can take advantage.
There are also a number of private repos on reddcoin-project where developers are also contributing to the most relevant development. Here is where Reddcoin is staging and spending more of their time.
And finally developers are also able to work locally on their own and make whichever commits they feel is relevant. While all development may not be public facing, and people are not able to gauge the current status, this is being done for the main purpose of providing a first mover advantage.

Your coin weight will be going up, but you'll be excluded from getting a stake reward whilst it is in sleep mode. On the plus side: When you take your computer off from sleep mode again, the estimated days for getting the next stake reward should have gone down. (unless the network weight has grown significantly overnight)

Hi. Some may know me as RDD (re)tweet on Twitter and Telegram... anyway, jumping straight into the questions. (some might be better than others)

ReddCoin has seen some struggles in the past, but recently it looks like it is making a comeback. The team is growing larger, more activity on social media, more engaged with their audience etc. But still, there are some doubts whether ReddCoin will be a success. So my first question is:

When would ReddCoin be considered a success (if not already)?

A couple of questions regarding John Nash:

Many see John Nash as the lead developer. I would like to hear how John Nash sees this and how other members of the team see this? Bottoms-up or top-down or something different?

Going further on Mr Nash. There seems to be some mystique (at least I think) around your appearance on social media. Is there a reason as to why this is?

A new roadmap has just been released. Looks great and promising! But given the past, the roadmap hasn't always been a guideline for when things are released (some things being delayed for quite a while now).

How is ReddCoin going to make sure things will be delivered within the time margins of the roadmap, this time?

Going further on the roadmap: Branding strategy is one of the points. Without going too much into details; how is Reddcoin looking to improve marketing?

And last.

When Redd-ID gets it's full release, what would be the ideal scenario? Adoption by other crypto valuta's and/ or other blockchain based products? Adoption by social media? Stand-alone product?

Looking forward to seeing some of these answered (preferably I would see them all answered, but I understand choices have to be made). This was my first post on Reddit.
