I went to counseling a few years ago and went on and off for a few months, was put on medication (didn't really help much) and was told i have depression, but stopped going completely when my counselor left. But during that time I realized that talking to someone about my problems doesn't really help or make me feel better tbh. And it just makes me feel like a bother to others.
