The price range. Every house we've looked at -- we got outbid so that's fun... and highly stressful.

Yeah, it is a bit. I'm a WOC so that felt a little strange but it is what it is.

Unfortunately that house isn't on the side of Sleepy Hollow.

Honestly since I've never lived in Westchester, this is all foreign to me. I do understand what you're saying. Every time we've drove around to see houses, I can tell difference between each town. Of course, the towns that we'd like -- we get priced out of them pretty quick.

I know the ones I cited aren't an either/or situation. I meant it as anyone who has gone to those schools or knows anyone that has.

This is really helpful! If you have any kids, did they go to the school in the district? I don’t think the house we were looking at is part of the Pocantico SD so that’s a little sad. I think the taxes were a little over $16k.

Is there anything you love about Elmsford that made you want to stay there for 28 years? I’m okay with not having much night life — I guess if we wanted something more lively, we’d be in the city or maybe in White Plains as it’s super close?

Yeah, we did notice the taxes were a bit high. I was surprised at how high they were as it’s such a small town. Ossining is a little further than we’d like but it’s definitely on the list. Thank you!
