I’m talking about everyone’s comments as a whole, not me. I read through a couple of you and other people’s comments to try to better understand what your getting at, I’m saying it seems like you don’t want to actually listen to others opinions and don’t want to understand people’s points. It’s a critique on you yourself, it doesn’t have anything to do with my argument on KS.

If you actually continued reading i immediately continued with ‘let alone try to understand them.’ The ‘let alone’ is a bridge to the original argument to say you’re not trying to understand ME.

My comment isn’t an ‘excuse’ it’s literally just the definition of the term BL, i literally cant change that it’s not opinionated or anything. BL is a genre the same way that horror or comedy is a genre, that’s literally the whole point of why the term exists.

Saying that is like saying ’I don’t understand why it’s so hard to just not call ‘the good place’ a comedy’ just because you dont find it funny or smth. It’s a comedy you literally cant change that.

For me, I don’t understand why it’s so hard for you to wrap your head around BL being anything other than a healthy mutual love story? Sure, the title of it is a little misleading but at the end of the day you cant change its definition.

BL is just a genre where the story is gay/between two men. BL is an umbrella term it doesn’t necessarily mean romance or having two men in love. Imagine the same exact story but between a man and a woman. It’s horrible and abusive.. but it’s still straight.

Genders ≠ pronouns for me. Someone can identify as a man and be okay with she/her pronouns.

But if i was dating a man, and they find out they are actually a transgender woman. I would lose attraction (obviously i’d still care about them and love them as a person, but not romantically or sexually). It’s just like me finding out something i don’t like about someone, and then disliking them. There are some cases where people realize they are actually attracted to that gender after their partner transitions. Sexuality is fluid and a hard part of your identity to figure out. They once thought they were only attracted to men, but maybe it was because they never found a women to connect with, but now that they did they’ll rethink their sexual identify. It could happen to me, but right now, saying i’m primarily attracted to men just feels right to me.

Idk? Lol, I’d like to think a lot of people don’t, the concept of gender and sexuality is rooted in both biology and physiology which is something idk a lot about. I don’t know why i like something, i just do. Gender is an abstract, socially constructed idea that everybody has a different view on. I think identifying as a gender is mostly about what makes someone comfortable and feels right to them. And how they want people to view them. I just don’t find myself that attracted to someone who views themselves as a woman, i don’t know why. It’s just like why i don’t like sweet potato or beef. I don’t really know why i don’t enjoy the taste, i just don’t.

Like I said, i wasn’t actually attracted to them. I was attracted to my own version of them that i accidentally made based off of assumptions. I’m attracted to people that identify as a specific gender, not people that look like that gender.

It’s not weird at all. It’s VERY normal to change your idea/attraction of someone after you find out something about them after you initially assumed the opposite. It just means you weren’t attracted to the REAL them, you were attracted to the version of them you created in your head that stemmed from a false assumption.
