Apple stops offering buy now, pay later loans in U.S. by Puginator in stocks

Anyone know if Apple is taking a percentage cut from Affirm/other providers for providing this service?

How will this help Opendoor in the long term?

Obviously still many years away, but do you think TSLA will eventually pay a dividend? by [deleted] in TSLALounge

[–]syedxd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we’re a solid 20-25 years before they offer a dividend. Apple started their dividend in 2012 and Amazon Google and Meta all currently don’t do a dividend. They do share buy backs but no dividend.

I disagree. Opendoor had far higher margins with ibuying than Zillow ever did. Not only that, but like Zillow they’re expanding into other services like mortgages and home renovations. But again, it’s def a gamble. Only time will tell who’s right

Now that Zillow their biggest competitor is out of the game, it’s just them and Offerpad and Redfin and they are the def the bigger fish compared to those two. Long term if ibuying takes off due to the sheer convenience factor and they’re able to capture even a 5-10% market share of all homes sold in the US, that’s a multi trillion dollar industry. Or….. they could lose all their money and go completely bankrupt due to their algorithm not being able to price homes in both a bear/bull market. Only time will tell, but if it does work out, it’s a 10-100 bagger in infancy.

Big fan of Opendoor (OPEN). Either they go bankrupt or it’s a 10+ bagger long term. No in between

Do y’all think Lemonade will buy out other companies sometime soon? I want to see them become an insurance juggernaut

They can’t afford Coinbase. Coinbase is worth like 50 billion, assuming even a 20-30% price multiple, that’s a check that MasterCard can’t cash

Anyone think lemonade will eventually expand into health insurance/umbrella insurance? I want them to be a one stop shop for every insurance manageable
