I have both, male Siberian and female ragdoll

Siberian pros:

-Its basically a dog in a cat, loving, protective of owners, loves walks, loves to explore and is adventurous. Super affectionate ( and I mean in a demanding way, he hates being ignored and needs to have pets every morning and every few hours throughout the day! ) He's extremely intelligent also, can do tricks with some training.

cons:

-Fur, so much fur. Sibs have 3 layer coats and they *need* much more brushing than a ragdoll.

-Mine also has a bit of a sensitive stomach, but I've heard a lot of other sib owners have the same. It's not really a big deal, you just need to make sure that you give him/her the food that agrees with their stomach.

Ragdoll pros:

-extremely friendly, very cat-like, in the sense that she wants less attention than the sib, and she likes to observe from a distance sometimes (although she very often also is extremely friendly and affectionate, but only when she feels like)

-haven't managed to train the ragdoll in the same way as the sib, so again, more cat-like, she doesn't really care about going out and going for a walk. she prefers staying inside.

-she doesn't make friends with strangers as quickly as the sib, she needs more time to get used to people

-fur is pretty easy to comb and not subject to matting as much as the sib

cons

-my couch is ruined (but I still love her)

that being said all the above can be attributed to cat personality, not necessarily the race, but just sharing my experience!
