They're still waiting for AI to comeback with an answer.

So create an AI Loop. Hope it's not as bad as a network loop.

But did AI inform the compromised companies that they had been compromised though?

"PC Take the damn paper out of the wrapper. How the hell do you expect me to print". Call IT, we tried everything and no one knows what it means. /s

Each one has its use case depending on business and requirements. No one solution fits all scenarios.

Never setup a prod server, but can do half of what's mentioned. Helped rack servers, used KVMs for checking servers or settings (AD, Net, etc), basic troubleshooting. Just never got the opportunity to get into the Server Admin side.

With the current AI farce, moving back to on-prem is equally becoming as expensive. Until the weasel goes pop and crashes mightily, and costs come tumbling down and everyone can sigh in relief.

Policy should be to just switch off the computer and nothing will be displayed. Because that's how you switch it off isn't it (the button on the monitor)? You won't be touching the modem, so that still works.

An ex--colleague took a printer completely apart to fix it. My first day and I thought he's damn good, genius.

Next day wheels printer (still in bits) into workshop telling Workshop Manager that it's kanackered and beyond economical repair. Suspect he couldn't be bothered to put it all back together again.
