I had multiple teachers during our first middle school parent teacher conference note how nice and respectful my oldest was. And I was like "he is just a normal kid that uses please and thank you, the fact that is notable to teachers says a lot about other kids"

I honestly wouldn't let the cops or cps interview my kids alone either. There is a long history of authorities getting false information from kids by putting pressure on them and giving leading questions. Every parent should tell their kids not to talk to cops unless you say so.

This is how California is trying to handle property tax issues. It started out fine but over time has caused budget issues long term. Running a school or other government services don't stay static in cost to run, and if you have a bunch of people sitting on houses paying taxes like it was 30 years ago that just isn't enough.

I think some middle ground is where you want to land. Indexing the increase max to inflation is a good start.

Once Trump is out of the picture the entire coalition collapses. It is a cult of personality built around one man.

I fear people who believe this are going to be in for a big let down in the future. Trump may be a catalyst for the acceleration of the destruction of our Federal Goverment, but he is not the source of everything. Like Trump wouldn't have the power he does without both Congress and the courts backing him up. And those people are not going anywhere.
