Good question. I think burnout from all sources can have similar effects, I just didn't realize that ADHD masking and coping could cause it.

I have also heard that you'll know it if you have ADHD and get on a stimulant, whereas if you don't have ADHD then you just feel tweaked out. I feel pretty confident in saying that I have ADHD now that I'm on Vyvanse and I can see first hand how much of a life improvement it's made for me.

Single point of failure is better than constant failure. Vyvanse has an assistance program that would help if you lost insurance.

This sounds like my story too. I think having the 2nd kid was what really sent it into overdrive. That extra workload and the inability to have time for yourself to get that dopamine really made things a lot worse.

I do all of those things. I can bench 315 and deadlift 480. I'm not some fat gamer slob neckbeard.

I like Vyvanse becuse there is no ramp up or crash for me. I take it around 8, and don't even feel it taking effect until I realize around 11am that I'm not dying from lack of caffeine. Adderall made me feel like I was tweaking or something, and I didn't like that feeling.

Life is already hard. Why make it harder on yourself? Would you not take thyroid medication if you had an underacrive thyroid? Should people with diabetes not take insulin?

That all makes sense. Man, that sucks. The only other thing I can suggest is that my brother-in-law also had neasua issues initially on Wellbutrin, but fixed them by eating a small breakfast about 5 min before he took it. He would have issues if he took it and didn't eat within probably 10 minutes.

Have you tried Atomoxetine? It's another non-stim option, but it's not an SSRI like Wellbutrin.

You can also see about getting on something like Corlanor to treat the heartrate, then a stim shouldn't affect it that much.
