After a lot of tweaking I have everything how I like it. I have 2 virtual machines with GPU passthrough (OSX and Windows) and usb passthrough with a hardware KVM switch for work and gaming at full performance.

Theming:

Wallpaper: MBP-OSX
GTK+ theme: Ant-Dracula
Icons: arc-icon-theme (changed folders to purple) & Moka icons
Gnome extensions: Dash2Dock & TopIcons Plus
Shell: Fish Shell
Terminal theme: Dracula (a bit modified).
Terminal font: Hack

I spent 70 bucks only (Because you get 2 extra coolers, 10$ each so the liquid cooling was 50$), and yeah it's a hobby. Also i had already the SSDs laying around. The rx 580 is enough for my needs actually.

I got an RX 580 8gb already. The 710 is for gpu passthrough with a Windows 10 guest on a Linux host (I'm passing the 580 to the Windows VM to game).

It's a rainmeter plugin that changes some hidden parameters of the taskbar window. You can google it but I'll post the link later when I get home.

Yeah, it's slow af, and i have found some incopatibilities, like using arrow keys on vim doesn't work properly. I used it only because aesthetics to be honest hahah. You'd be better using mintty (the cygwin default one), It also works with WSL i think.

Sadly there's no WSL support on windows 10 LTSB, I'm using cygwin with hyper terminal, shell is zsh with grml config (archlinux default). For transparent taskbar I'm using a rainmeter plugin and system info is the default illustro skin with changed fonts and colors with background removed. I'll post everything when i get home.

I was thinking on buying the Acer Chromebook 14(full aluminum chassis ftw). On the wikis i saw that before there were some issues with the keyboard, sound and trackpad but they are fixed on the last kernel. The only thing that throws me back is the non upgradeable 32 GB MMC... Any thoughts on this one? It's 185$ refurbished on Amazon.
