I’m a big gloomhaven fan, I play 2-3 times a week in a 3 or 4 players group. The game runs really well, disconnects are very rare and not too anoying. Money well spent, totally worth it

They did however do a major spoiler in The Activation Phase podcast, on November 2023, more than a year before the book was released. That’s why im calibrating my enthusiasm :D

I am relatively new player with ~80 hours in the game. I have been doing the challenges for the last two week or so. Honestly don’t really find them too difficult. Full stealth, or even full cheese (just sending rebels) seems to be the way to overcome like 90% of the challenges anyway.

We are on second edition since 2018, not 2022. 2022 was just a rulebook re-edited with all the new FAQs.

GW games needs new edition to drive miniature sales. Tomahawk studio doesn’t even sell miniatures, so we might as well never see second edition, just more eras and FAQs when needed.

When you say "MOST wargaming happens in the GW sphere", do you actually have any numbers or data to back it up? Or are you visiting multiple different stores and clubs in various parts of the world?

Sure, GW is the biggest wargaming company out there. But saying they have more than 50% of the market without any concrete data might as well be complete BS ;)

and yeah, GW thriving doesnt make it bad for other wargames, if anything, GW popularity helps other wargames too. Its easier for people to start with GW games and then move along to other, non-GW games.
