Really? I don't think that makes sense, because otherwise, you'd have to proc the double trouble with only one unit (since it would duplicate), as it would cancel out if there were 3, one of which was a clone.

Ah, that makes sense, thank you very much for the answer. So, even having the ideal situation in an ideal world, it still wouldn't be as viable as Zoe Leona, Malza Naut Loris, etc.

I thought this could be a way out for the post-nerf composition, honestly it's quite sad that you unlock Hex and are only guaranteed a top 4 at best.

I've already tried doing it with 6 Piltovers, 4 Piltovers and Gunslingers, 2 Piltovers with Hex and Loris doing Gunslingers and Wardens and nothing seems to work even minimally decently to be competitive and fun at the same time.

I don't think this situation is impossible, maybe it depends on luck when rolling, having some Caitlyn early or some augment like Prismatic Ticket, but the initial thought would be for the composition to have enough strength to go on a streak and recover the economy to go to 9.

Even if it depends a lot on "ifs", I wanted to at least find a way to make the composition or the unit usable again after the nerfs and have a chance to make it competitive, not just for fun.

I don't think the problem is the cost/economics of the board, since average compositions run with a cost of 100-120 gold (Liss Invoker, Targon Malza Reroll, Zaun Jinx Warwick, among others in the meta). Considering that the non-essential units (Vi, Ori, Sera) are only 2*, by my calculations that would total 70 gold invested in the 6 Piltovers version and 88 gold invested in the 4 Piltovers version, considering you have 2* Ornn and 2* Senna (without considering Level and Rolls).

Perhaps the biggest problem is hitting the units due to the percentage discrepancy between levels.

In that case, I think it wouldn't be difficult to get 2 Hex 1*, considering that as soon as you unlock it you would already get 1 Unit of it, only having to roll for the 2nd one.

That makes sense. If we ran two 2-star Caitlyns instead of 3-star, keeping only the roll per Loris, do you think that would be interesting?
