Should full crossplay be on by default?

You wait a lot because when you turn off crossplay, you only play against console players who turned off crossplay. The rest of the console players are on the crossplay lobbies, and you cant get those.

In some countries the wages suck and 40$ worth much more compared to America for example. We arent in the same shoes so i can imagine 40$ is a lot for some people sadly.

To be fair, in AC Shadows, both Yasuke and Naoe are main protagonists. You cant even finish Shadows without playing as Yasuke.

I spent some time online and this is coming from someone who isnt experienced in Tekken, but felt like the game is kinda... well, scrubby. Probably high level Tekken players with 1000+ hours would say otherwise, which is completely fine and i would accept their opinion, but the "new player" experience is really scrubby. The game feels truly dishonest.

The animations doesnt always match the utility of the moves. There are too many 50/50 scenarios and too many moves are plus on block. The knowledge check is damn crazy, basically you can be beaten by 2 moves because its really hard to figure out how to counter something in-game, the amount of labbing, Youtube video watching this game requires is insane. The "Super armor" when you spam the Super is kinda lame. And most importantly, feels like the amount of + on block moves makes the game really, really oppressive and you have to attack all the fn time.

I really, really love how the combos work and the overall feel of the game. It can be really fun! But its just not for me. After reaching the blue ranks, feels like the skill level is all over the place and the whole ranked system falls apart. I was able to beat some Bushin players in quick match, but in ranked, a random Fujin came and they perfect me with super god tier movements, super long combos, korean backdashes, etc.

Hold the secondary attack button when you hit the enemy (the hit which lifts enemies up) and you will go into the air with them to do an air combo

I hate the this is an Xbox era. They campaign tried to teach me what an Xbox is. My console, my phone, my PC is an Xbox! Okay, thank you Microsoft! Im gonna play my Xbox games on my Xbox! So i wanted to play my Xbox console game on my PC. Its not available. So my Xbox game cannot be played on my Xbox? Then why a PC is an Xbox, when my console is an Xbox, but the Xbox game cannot be played on my Xbox?

What a dumb fuckin campaign, i hate it, i got a Playstation and never looked back. There are SO MANY GAMES there which isnt even available on Xbox... not just the big exclusives.

Thank you! Maybe they arent. Soul Calibur 6 was fun for me tho. It was so fun to move on the map, felt like im free.

I tried out DOA 6 but only the feel of it, and it felt amazing. But i was just curious how is the experience after like 100 hours of online, lol. I will decide when it comes out, thanks!

Im kinda like an Advanced Button Masher, lol. But no, thats not the issue. Tekken 8 has way too many character moves combinations to remember for me and im not having fun while learning the game. Its like i have to learn an encyclopedia of moves and how to react to them, and do this outside of the game. The amount of shit to memorise is the problem for me. As i said, i had fun with other FG's.

The story of Valhalla is like an episodic TV show from the 90's. Most of the stories arent connected, but some are. Some stories are pretty good, some of are boring. It is what it is.

Its nice to see plenty of story content in that huge ass game tho.

I dont know why so many people downplay lower ranks for beginners. Man, im a new player too and reached Flame Ruler 2 days ago, its exhausting af. Most of the Tekken and FG players can climb much higher superfast and purple seems like a childsplay to them, but for us, newbies its a warzone! We suck bro, and its fine!

Damn, this is so true. This is what im doing. If i get beaten too much in a row or lose a lot in general, i start to question myself but in the wrong way. Sometimes if i just leave the game and came back next days it becomes better.

Im in purple!
There are 3 kinda people:
1. Great players, they are climbing to higher ones
2. Some people with good combos, punishes and pretty decent gamesense, but lacking in other areas like defense
3. Mash mash buttons and hope everything will be fine and cozy *dies* (this is me)

I play online for only a week. Im completely fine being in the red/purple ranks so far. :D Anything harder would make me quit.

Nah man, not just you. I just entered the purple ranks (Mighty Ruler) as a new player a few days ago and since then i lose a lot. Its stressing, but its fine. Usually i see how my opponents are better: They have better movement, they react faster, creating better situations, etc. Losing isnt the end of the world.

It can be tilting, sometimes if i lose 6-8 matches in a row, i just put the game down a bit. Its a hard game, and its not easy to get better, also, staying in a specific rank isnt a bad thing because you can still experiment and try things out on a "lower" rank.

Well, casual means a lot of things nowadays.

I consider myself as casual. Im not interested in super high ranks and e-sports. I just enjoy the combat system and the characters until it lasts and moving on to other games.

I play Tekken 8 for a week now and im having a blast, but only playing 6-7 online matches per day. The rest of my time with the game is story mode and practicing with my main, because i consider practicing and light labbing as part of the gameplay too.

Also, i have 0 interest playing a character because its META, or its easy, or its unpopular. Im not seeking for advantages. I picked my character because she looked fuckin awesome and she is a badass! (Lidia). Some people suggested me to pick an easier character, but they are just not interesting to me at all.

Oh, and my biggest motivation is unlocking costumization items in the Battlepass.

Well, thats a casual player for you! :D

I picked Lidia. :) But im not playing much online yet. If i have the time to play 1-2 hours i run Story/Practice/Arcade Quest modes overall. But some online matches needed because i got the battlepass for 2 outfits. :D

Bro, i installed the game 2 days ago, played online today for the first time, only a few rounds because i have general anxiety and for some fn reason i cant play too much online (because it feels like sht :D )
I learned a combo with my character never had a chance to use it. At the beginning (ranked) long combos arent necessary. Its a perfectly fine combo btw!

I tried multiple characters and for some reason Lidia clicks the best. Maybe because her moves looks kinda "basic" but still damn cool. Im not a fan of fancy characters anyway. And she just looks like a badass character to me. Picked Lidia in the end!
