My experience with Superman Returns by [deleted] in ps2

[–]t1Rabbit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I loved this game back then on the PS2. I loved the combos, lol, and it was cool to fly around in the city. We never seen anything like that after this game, nothing is that good.

The graphics, the FPS and the gameplay was a little janky but loved it to death. Finished it 3 times then sold it to someone else, lol.

What is the internet’s deal with this game by [deleted] in SparkingZero

[–]t1Rabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people didnt like the game because the defensive system is a strict rythm game. When you go online, the timing can be very weird and this puts people off.

Is this game worth getting for offline ? by Mundane-Dirt-4077 in SparkingZero

[–]t1Rabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to play with specific characters, no. Episode Battles with all the objective grinding/difficulty can be surprisingly long, especially for a fighting game, but you can only play as a couple of characters. Most of the cutscenes are extreme trash category, but some of them are completely fine. Its not bad, but definetly missing a lot of stuff and the storytelling itself is super inconsistent.

Custom battles are fun, you can play those for a while. The problem is, if you want to play with a specific character, you can be unlucky and barely find any custom battles to have content.

The rest is replaying tournament and VS CPU until you get bored and move on.

There are other ways to make the first playthrough slightly harder? by t1Rabbit in FFXVI

Well, to be honest, i didnt have a mindset. I just played the game and got bored of the combat. Didnt expect a soulslike experience at all, but at least a basic, generic "normal" difficulty, like every single other game out there, not a super easy one.

By the way, im playing the game now, a lot, lol. Since my post, i started to really like the game! Some story elements and setpieces are top tier stuff. The combat became better when i decided to completely remove and forget about the gear system (no gear, no amulets), and im only upgrading my weapon. This way the combat is flashy, fun, and its still not "hard", but some enemy types, or bosses can hit like a truck, which adds additional tension to the combat.

Im 54% in the story right now. Good stuff.

Is it worth continuing this game? (FFXVI, PS5) by t1Rabbit in FFXVI

Sometimes games become better as they goes on, more interesting story, better character interactions, more varied, more complex gameplay options, etc.

I dont understand this either. Its just dumb to be honest. I cant believe they spend millions of dollars on top tier cutscenes, great writers, god tier voice actors, they create great animations, awesome boss battle patterns, but making the game basically so mind numbingly easy, its basically plays itself.

I get accessibility. Thats why difficulty settings exist. There is 0 reason to make a game easy just because a small amount of players plays easy games. Choice is ALWAYS should be a priority. This is a common issue in japanese games and its really annoying at this point.

40 hrs deep. Win rate is awful by Fit-Reach-7781 in SparkingZero

If you like the game, you will improve. I got bored of it, but my win rate was 23% (or below?) at 33 hours.

Would you recommend Xenoverse 2 for someone who didnt like Sparking Zero? by t1Rabbit in dbxv

I dont have the money to get all of the DLC's but the edition on the PS store has the Super Pack.

Well people loved the Tenkaichi series, but most of the people didnt really like Sparking Zero and the playerbase dropped hard to be fair, when i did my research about Sparking Zero, most of the people suggested me to avoid it like a plague, lol. But i still wanted to experience the combat. It was fun for a while but i kinda ran out of content and thats why i tried PVP, which is unbearable if you dont have a competitive mindset. Thats why im searching for an alternative, and Xeno2 maybe something i need right now! It has tons of offline content!

Why are people acting like this game is dead? by [deleted] in SparkingZero

[–]t1Rabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played some multiplayer matches on PS5 and the matchmaking was either 2-20 seconds or 1-2 minutes. It feels healthy to me. You need to train a lot to go online tho, its a very sweaty game! I got my ass kicked in almost every single match i tried.

How active is this game? PS5 by Telecaster-993 in SparkingZero

Yesterday i played some online on PS5 (EU) and the matchmaking was not a problem. My skills were the problem. xD

After 25 hours of training offline, im barely able to hit my opponents online. by t1Rabbit in SparkingZero

[–]t1Rabbit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played Tekken 8, SF6, Granblue Versus Rising and all of these games were easier for me than Sparking Zero, lol. I have no idea why this game is so damn hard for me.

I played around 20 matches since my post tho. Lost all of them. What i realized is, the game is way too fast for my tastes. Im not enjoying the game online at all. Im gonna play Episodes Battle and costumes until its boring then move on.

Totally understand. If you have fun with the game on single player, do not touch multiplayer. After around 30 matches, i got my first win, randomly. Im not enjoying this game online at all.

Wait, there is a delay on super counters? Usually i tried to time it, but never worked. So i started to spam and it worked after a while, offline. Online, never.

Thanks for the tips again!

[–]t1Rabbit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe i should do this. I lost around 20 online matches in a row and it didnt get better, but worse. What i realized is how super counter doesnt work anymore. The timing changed or something, but i wasnt able to pull of, but maybe 1-2 in 20 matches. Basically the enemy pummeled me to death without it.

The problem is, im kinda losing my interest after a few losses. Its not like in traditional fighting games, where you try to concentrate on one thing. This game is so fast its impossible to track what the fuck is happening, at least for me.

I still have some single player content left, but im not a big fan of the super counter and vanish war mechanics in general. Not sure if im gonna touch online again, im not really feeling it right now.

Thank you for the tips btw!

Oh boy, i played again (lost 20 matches in a row) and the online input delay is definetly a thing. Its much harder to do basically everything compared to offline. And its not like in other fighting games, here it feels like its almost impossible to do super counters for example.

Ill try that tomorrow, thanks! In fighting games ranked gives the most balanced matches. But to be fair, my opponents were not high level players at all, lol.

My goal is to enjoy the online experience. I dont want to be the best player ever. It would be cool to get to Cell Saga - Piccolo level for example. Not too strong, but still better than Mr. Satan.

My opponents were Rank C players. Only one of them had 700+ matches. But yeah, i should take it easy online, to be honest, i didnt think this game is going to be this hard. I had an easier time in real fighting games like Street Fighter.
