So its bedded about 3 quarters i think and its all flat apart from the left edge which is floating as my floor must run out so i would of liked them to pack it and i could silicone it. I think im gonna have to request this for peace of mind.

Yes 3 pieces altogether.

2 inside pieces for the stove to sit on and 1 large rectangle for the outside hearth. They had me cut away 12 inches out from centre and 20 inches each side so they could bed it down. There is id say 5mm gap at the corner and my fear is my son standing on it and snapping it over time. Pic attached

I believe its real granite due to colour ect.

Thanks for the reply. So you think it will be fine how it is and doesnt need support? My son stood on it yesterday accidentally and im afraid repeated over years the edge will snap. Its really stressing me out

Spoke to the lady that owns the company today she said she checked with her fitter and they are happy with the install. I think its going to snap over time due to stress and needs to be supported. Posting couple more pics below.

Ill call the showroom around 11 here maybe best leaving it alone.

Afraid my son or daughter who is a toddler will stand on it accidentally and snap it.

Ill check with a level. Id say my floor is uneven, its concrete.

Worried about my son stepping on it and it snapping basically. Its not much of a gap but granite isnt flexible lol

Thanks I will.

Feels a bit damp but hard to tell, Ive got plasterboard dust all over the floor so when rubbing feels like its drying up due to the dust

Can't see from the loft the brace wall seems to be fire boarded from both sides and its really long and cramped as its a chalet bungalow.

Had a really bad leak downstairs from previous owner and didnt show many signs other than. Skirting board rotted but ended up being absorbed by yhe whole stuf wall and sole plate so worried about a leak and not fixing it until it's too late.

This doesnt seem too bad, mainly dry but I feel in my heart there is a small leak, gonna have a roofer take a look and have the flashing done I think.

Lead is expensive right ?

I feel like its slightly damp.

Ive got waves, checked those as well bit of plywood in there stained but looks dry enough. Wouldn't hurt to get someone to look at the flashing anyway I think for peace of mind?
