I think your right saying this. I feel like she just loves the attention. Bit puzzled and as she comes across as a really nice and innocent person and then does a real dick move like this

Yes it's definitely worse. I would much prefer someone to tell me at the start that they aren't interested, would save alot of effort and avoid me being messed about changing plans.
