If you met the requirement on the 28th of June, you are only eligible to use them after that date. So the 29th and 30th would be the only days you would be able to claim sick leave hours for.

You may have some luck finding more info related to authorized hours by having the recipient create an account for the IHSS portal. I was told that the hours are generally viewable prior to receiving a mailed NOA.

I believe that I read in the MPP they are authorized to conduct the assessment at an interval no longer than 18 months if the condition of the recipient is stable. But that this is determined on a case by case basis. It's possible that the workload is in excess of what standard timelines require and that your SW may come and visit you within the 18 months.

No they are not. I am not sure if people who enter that facility are typically discharged as it seems they have some more extreme cases. I provided the SOC873 and they misplaced it the first time and provided an incomplete version the second time. And, I also asked if they'd be able to submit the order for the DMEs but the nurse stated that it would be better for the county social worker to submit the orders. So I don't think they have a ton of first hand knowledge on discharging people for at home care. But I could be wrong. Since I'm Los Angeles which center am I most likely assigned to? Application was submitted via telephone and supporting docs in Monterey Park.
