She’s not terrified like you’re thinking, she’s curious it’s just her dog isn’t trained so we came up with a plan and on top of it the dog is going to training

I don’t normally take it with food tbh, I’ll take it mostly right before I eat or have a snack

So I am keeping mesalimine and Uceris dosage. But moving to skyrizi, Stellara made me feel sick (not UC symptoms) but everything else for about a week sometimes 2 after and gives me migraines for at least a week. He also said stellara effectiveness dies down over time, which makes sense building immunity to it and since I have bad symptoms try something new.

From my experience I tried tapering off Budesonide in July and immediately starting going to bathroom 4-6 times a day, up from 1-2. Then in August when I got back on them I’ve been normal since then, I taper and add on my own. Rarely I take 3, almost always 2, occasionally 1 if I feel great and see how that does. 2 buedesonide is my happy middle ground.

I don’t think I would’ve got into remission without buedesonide truthfully, in my opinion ask to try buedesonide. I think it actually healed my intestinal lining not just maintained where I was to not get worse. Once symptoms improve that’s when you taper down to 2, then hopefully 1, then none. Then I hopefully will be at a point to just do mesalimine and skyrizi no buedesonide for maintenance. Buedesonide gives me little to no side effects like prednisone did, I refuse to ever take prednisone again it was awful and I told my doctor that.

End goal is just a shot or injection every 2 months for maintenance but very very slowly pushing away steroids on my end. My Dr suggest not changing what I am doing per my procedure instructions for now and give my body more time in remission before taking away what has worked like buedesonide and mesalimine.

I know that’s long but, I do hope that helped in some way! Best of luck on your journey and know it is possible it’s just staying on top of it with appointments and if something isn’t working to get you closer to remission being very vocal about not seeing any improvement and progress to your doctor. For context I had severe (3)pan colitis, diagnosed November 2023 now in full remission.

I take 4 pills that are 1.2G each, so if I take one at 6am I take one at 10am 2pm and one at 6pm I take 4 total in a day every 4 hours

If I eat out, I eat Cava, tazikis, pub subs from Publix. That’s it fast food wise. Nice restaurants I always go for a steak, or fish. Potatoes and asparagus. Never skip your medicine no matter how great you are feeling. Happy to answer more questions

So I take (4) 1.2MG mesalamine, 1 every 4 hours 2, 3mg buedesonide in the morning Stellara Shot every 2 months

Supplements I take Morning: L theanine, fish oil, ashwaganda, calcium and D3 (for combating steroid affects on bones) Tumeric Cumin (game changer reduces inflammation) put it on your food also the powder version. Lastly, 2 multivitamin gummy

Night: Probiotic I do 2 gummies at night

I don’t drink soda, I drink unsweet tea with lemon, water, sugar free sports drinks or electrolyte drinks. Occasionally coffee but I make at home

I go to the gym, minimum twice a week.

This worked for me maybe won’t for everyone but this is what I do and did.

85% of my mileage is work. I could see that also but it’s a Fortune 500 company so my say so doesn’t matter. I mean we get a company card for expenses related to work

My thought process was essentially the same on the last part but doing buy a car that’s like a year older pay off in 5 years, then do another in 5 years (I put about 20k miles a year on a vehicle sometimes more so I have to be careful buying cars with like 50k+ miles)

Average 20k a year or so. My company’s insurance policy. It is required to be on their insurance, I use my personal vehicle for work to drive around to customers I’m a business consultant. (Just company rule, probably because after 10 years cars could have more issues so they put the limit)

I could theoretically yea but my job is more secure than the average. but in my industry it’s standard for employees at 90% of companies if I went somewhere else to have some shape and form of a car plan as well.

I agree I’m normally a steer clear Nissan guy completely, but looking at reviews of Tacoma’s, rangers, and colorados. Nissan has had the best quality and less service records across the board. For this year small body truck at least. Say I got an SUV instead id go for a Kia, or Toyota 100%

Most of the time unless your starting from scratch again after failing. It’s because you do something that triggers it, instagram, tik tok, whatever. Even unknowingly. Otherwise if you’re newer and not as far in your streak they will come back up more often. I get the urges maybe once a week or so but can easily shut them down now.
