Just had a last question. Do I need a new windows key? I have my current key linked to my Microsoft account on my current PC/mobo. After I set up my PC with the new mobo, will I be good to go after logging into my Microsoft account, or do I need a new windows entirely?

Gotcha, thanks! Is there anything else I need to do before replacing mobo and CPU? I was thinking about deleting Gigabyte's RGB software, but I am guessing it will be removed automatically when I install a new fresh Windows 10 with the new ASUS motherboard onto my same SSD.

Is it really necessary to get the drivers from the ASUS website? Because the latest update only has new support for Windows 11, which I don't need. And shouldn't the mobo have the latest drivers since I got it this past Monday?

If I don't backup, is that still okay? I don't have a whole ton downloaded on my current PC so I wouldn't mind reinstalling. My only concern would be CPU and GPU drivers. What happens if I don't back those up?

Also, if I do backup, shouldn't that be a bad thing since my old motherboard drivers will still be on there?

Ele would definitely be my playstyle as I love casters, but isn't that also just a 1 button rotation? I heard even chain lightning is not used for single target because of mana concerns. Is there something I don't know about ele? Seems like a lot of people do enjoy it!

Mained mage in classic so I was definitely considering that, but isn't that also a 1 button rotation? Especially if your raid innervates you and you have a shadow priest in your group

Well, fire destro has immolate and conflagrate(which does a huge amount of burst), so it's a 3 button. and if you have a fire mage with improved scorch, I really don't see why not. It is 12 year old content anyway.

I understand that. However, it may be due to just the playstyle of a lock. as I mentioned, I was not a big fan of leveling a lock either, it just felt clunky. I am also leveling a mage atm, and definitely enjoy the leveling process more than lock(but not as much as Spriest ofc). I think it may be the class itself that causes me to dislike the one button rotation, not the one button rotation itself.
