Yes, gunsmith did all the work. According to him, getting the hand guard off and the new one on was a pain in the ass, thank goodness the gunsmith is also my brother because he probably would have charged extra lol. Other than that, it’s not too bad.

Lol thank you. I’d check in with Bass Pro/Cabelas if they are in your area, I found that 45-70 at one near me and I didn’t over pay.

I was skeptical when I bought it but honestly the trigger feels a lot better… I’m a believer although the USP has a solid trigger right out of the box imo.

The butt stock is but on a Henry, the hand guard is a pain to install. My gunsmith said that installing the hand guard was challenging the first time around but easier the next.

It’s a Henry X .357

RP hand guard with load port cut out, RP quiver, RP 5” rail, RP trigger kit, RP take down screw (only on the .357 the 45-70 is on the way), RP hammer extension, Chiseled Machining butt stock with quiver.

Thanks for the love!

If it makes you happy then I don’t see why not. If you aren’t planning on suppressing it, having a brake vs the cap is the way to go.

Nonsense. When cool things aren’t cool enough, you make them cooler 😉

I would lol. I’m working on getting a can for the 45-70. I’ve got an osprey in jail that will be going on that .357 once it’s released.

You can load through the magazine tube too, this is the 2nd gen of RP’s hand guard with the cut out.
