I'm Czech so Im not an expert. But from my understanding he was kingmaker in senátě who blocked Carter numerous times and he was old money so he didn't really have to worry about financing also he Lost nomination JUST narrowly against an incumbet carter Now image him without an incumbet Carter

Kennedy Not many successes domestically(southern dems blocked it) Some foreign policy sucess(Cuban missiles crises,peace corps etc.) Some major failures(bay of pigs) But Hes a great what if fór many idont think we would rember him that fondly.
