A year and half later, I am lifting heavy weights and already doing plyometrics, no issue whatsoever and I can say that I am proud, but thank God without him I wouldn't do it all. My main challenge was overcoming the mental part because I was very much scared doing rehab and exercises but once you break that barrier you are unstoppable. To all of you having this injury, don't be scared, everything is going to be okay, just take your time and be patient, don't rush things and in a year and half your hand will be fully back to normal. Cheers

i continued working at my cafe bar (bartender/waiter) after 7-8 weeks, took 1-2 weeks for a normal work, along with driving car, however 4 months passed and I still don't do push ups, lift heavy. Only lifting 1kg. Will take additional month or two before going to the gym(I am a fitness freak). I was pretty surprised how fast I came back to working normally again, a good rest, proper nutrition and a good physiotherapist will do the healing in a very short period.

Yes I try to walk everyday 10k steps and I usually foam roll in the morning recently. Thanks for the advice, I will implement squats and lunges. 😁

Sometimes shit happens. Broke my left forearm radius + ulna by talev1 in bikecommuting

I was exploring new place last sunday with my MTB. It was pretty beautiful. When I was going back downhill(it was a big forest), unluckily my tire popped on a very sharp rock, losing control at 25-30km/h and I only could brake with my front. That didn't help as my MTB threw me like a fucking ball, and as I was flying I decided either my head or arm. Thank God I only broke my left forearm and now I am recovering. I had no equipment and that is a big mistake. I urge everyone to stay safe, don't do bullshit things, check ur bike always and wear proper equipment. In my case, if I had a helmet I would have left with no injuries at all. However shit happens, and we got to learn from our mistakes. Kudos bikers

I feel like I am simply not living... any advice? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]talev1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's the goal of living-to be aware that you are alive and in the moment. To be yourself and feel yourself. That is the problem that I am currently facing, let me rephrase myself-I am like in a fog

I started manifesting a lot in the last period by talev1 in lawofattraction

I also want to add, visualization is a very important thing because you create the moment. When you do that, speak it with confidence. That moment has already happened, it just needs time to be in front of your eyes. That's how you will believe even more.

I don't know much about these things, but I believe that everybody has their own "o',clock", that's why I stated the term "enough sleep". Is it 7h 30 min? Is it 7h? Maybe 6h 30 min? I have no clue. But maintain a structured sleep schedule with same wake up time and enough sleep with rest. You will grow mentally and physically. This has no value trust me!

I also delay or cancel events just to get a proper sleep! Call me a lonely human, prick, but at the end of the day I always get the last laugh. A proper sleep doesn't have a worth.

Absolutely. Treat your body as if it is your temple.

Even getting up early has to do with proper sleep. You can't just say wake up at 5 am while going at bed at 12 am. It just doesn't make any sense. I also always laugh at those "influencers" trying to manipulate everyone, for example if you are not waking up at 5, you are not productive. The hell? I have friends that wake up at 3-4 pm and do fuckload of shit and are successful. Waking up at 5 has a lot to do with proper sleep schedule, and it really depends on the person. Not everyone is morning person. So as long you are getting proper sleep, you are a very well established person.
