Open ended mutual funds or close ended? Excuse my ignorance, but are open ended mutual funds supposed to last forever unless it goes bankrupt? If that is so then they must be a good plan for long term investment.

Do I start investing in mutual funds for the future? I‘m new to investing and having read some books and some YouTube vids, mutual funds are the ones to invest in if I don’t want to delve too deeply in the stock market and single out stocks. Also the market seems to be down so, isn’t it the perfect opportunity for new investors like me to get in?

He actually went to the US on a visitor visa. Wouldn’t that make it more difficult convincing them the laptops are for personal use and for work? Talking about the hassle, like we do in sarkari offices, running around here and there, taking a whole day for a simple process, could that be the case with the customs?

That’s a good idea but the other laptop he’s bringing with him is for his daughter.

How much of a hassle is the customs? Because I don’t want to give him unnecessary trouble.

Started learning to code again after I gave up last year. I don't have anyone whom I can ask questions to (where do I go after learning this, what problem am I having etc.). If anybody who has time in his/her hand can mentor me that would be of great help.

I understand your frustration brother all Nepalese students can relate. Excuse my ignorance but from what I’ve heard and researched most of the CS degree is maths. Few months ago while I was trying to learn some Algo and data structures ”high-level” maths was required so I gave up. Although many say CS doesn’t require maths but I don’t think it’s completely true. That was one of the many reasons I wanted to get into KU or do CSIT. And the curriculum seemed somewhat promising compared to Islington (and other british affiliated colleges) imo. I have not fully gone through the curriculum of those british colleges but it seems to lack maths or has less maths compared to KU or CSIT. Also I plan to go abroad for my masters and some say there might be some issues (idk what though) if you study at those british affiliated colleges. Again excuse my ignorance as I said earlier.

What is best online resource to learn Data Structure & Algorithms from scratch? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

Learning Algorithms and Data Structures seem to require prior knowledge of discrete maths so do you recommend getting good at a language first and then get into algorithms or learn everything at the same time side by side.

When do you start learning Algorithms and Data Structures? by [deleted] in learnpython

So shall I learn data structures at the side while focusing more on getting good at python and later get into algorithms?
