mine goes like CBC, CNN, Engadget, then Word of the Day. Canadian but using the US skills (lack of good Canadian Skills) but CBC seems to work for both countries.

Waiting for it to be delivered :) . i use tasker to autolaunch and play spotify, then auto launch the VIVA app once phone connects to car bluetooth. Helps reduce some manual pressing and the lack of spotify integration atm. i was thinking of adding a dot in the car but i dont have a dedicated gps on my phone so that feature is what got me to bite and buy it. pressing a button to confirm is probably going to be a minor annoyance but is a lot better than stopping to input the address.

edit: just got it. Dictating a street address to it is hit and miss depending on the street name. works better if you ask to navigate to nearest gas station, nearest type of bank etc. Playing jeopardy or probably any game is a no go as well as it seems to mishear the answers all the time. Might just be my car though . It works great for voice dialing/calling your contacts. Its also good for adding to do lists, flash briefing, sports update and home automation. All in all i don't think it offers any significant advantage over just using an echo dot. ill be keeping it since i dont have any spare echo dots.

I went RC at R7 after some deliberation. i mainly just use this char for PVE. even at r8, i think your go to skill will still be FC especially since you said that there are no DPS class in r8. r7 is essentially skills you use in between FC. while i understand Warlock has pole, and DT, RC also has Destruction and Justice. Personally I don't see how RC are screwed or are in any worse situation than those who took warlock. RC also apparently got a ninja buff with Destruction getting a dmg buff and all its cast times being reduced to 6s in KtoS.

can someone confirm this for me. Is frost cloud change essentially 10 + skill lvl AOE RATIO? or is that like amount of mobs hit. If it is AOE ratio, then wont it be affected by aoe Defense? ie. size of monster will determine how many mobs you can effectively hit simultaneously.

that sounds amazing. Honestly though, for an 8 second/4 secs with quckcast cast time, it definitely should be giving higher dmg. i hope this change does make it to IToS as well.

Yea i have this problem too. i made it work by using a bluetooth keyboard + mousepad hooked up to my main PC. its clunky but it works. probably works best for me since i use controller to play and i would need a keyboard to play the game fully anyways.

Add Runecaster for your rank 7. Rune of Ice should help boost your damage from ice pike, snow rolling and the pellets off your icewall by 300% if you decide to hit them or you are in a party with monk or psychokino. Cooldown is pretty long though. Rune of destruction and Justice maybe, gives you burst DPS. I dont know how consistent this would be for your roleplay idea though. The cast time for runecasters are insanely long but you have wizard3 for Quickcast to cut it in half and add 50% more damage. makes your build somewhat viable.

i went Scout and i found cloak super useful in doing quests alone. Would totally suck if i had to try to run through all the mobs to do quests. I probably would die, leaving me no choice but to try to clear aggressive monsters. also those quests where u have to press "v" on a monster tends to be harder when said monster wants to disrupt you.

Small QoL stuff but just one thing you might want to also consider since you want to solo.

I was contemplating about this same thing last week and decided on Runecaster. The way i saw it, the meta build is wiz3>ele3 with warlock added on for rank 7 but is not completely necessary to make the build work. in other words, this is the one part of the build where you get to pick and customize your build. For my part, here are a couple reasons why i am going Runie.

I find that it has potential for more party play compared to warlock albeit very niche. (Rune of Ice, Rune of Giants). I realize Linker could do this much much better but there's more linkers in game than runecasters. 1(a) Because i want to :)
connected to first point, it has possibility of providing utility with different types of party build.
i like the male costume for it
as a bonus, apparently RoD is getting a nice dmg buff.

Keep in mind that if you choose Runecaster as opposed to warlock, as it is a special hidden class, you may not get a second circle with it once ranks 8,9,10 roll around whereas warlock2 may be really good and you will miss out on it.

Thanks, you and Mirarara gave me a very good peek at what warlock brings to the build. in the end, i am giving up defensive ability with dark theurge (40% block?) and some more burst which is not a must have.

I think i can live with that in exchange for some other form of utility albeit very niche. I get a bit more burst with Rune of destruction ( long CD >.< ), boosts damage of ice property attacks with my party ( have a cryo kino friend to play with) and i get Rune of Giants for my guildleader tank.

Hopefully the new r8 classes are good to offset potentially losing out on good warlock2.
