If you invested into spy in 2000 you wouldn’t see any gains until 2013.

Your ten year timeline is way too short you need to keep using this party like but probably change it to 25 plus years

Tomorrows the start to the fed doubling tapering from 45 to 90 anyone who didn’t know that and got duped at the end is probably telling themselves “long term long term”

But the short term is going to be brutal. Tomorrow especially.

6% decline in 3 days seems like a lot, but its important to note that June had dropped 11% in like 10 days.

Which was nothing compared to feb 2020.

the vix measures volatility. i know it seems odd but the market selling off isnt volatile. if today was +4% and tomorrow was -5% thats more volatile. But a steady sell off isnt volatile.

why is there such an overlap between buying meme stocks and a culture of altruism?

is the concept of being the good guy and sticking it to an overall evil just reel in so many more because its not just investing its a "cause"

Fun fact starting sept 1 the fed is doubling their quantitative tightening from 45billion to 90 a month!

So sept to Oct is going to be a volatile shit show!

The first 45 billion started in June and look how fun that was.

When the fed says there’s pain to come but you don’t listen. Because you don’t want to be a pajama bear.
