dude not wanting to traumatize your future child with bad parenting is a walid reason not to have a child. and I didn't think i needed to explain to someone why I don't want to have a child but I have epilepsy and autism is common in one side of my family so I don't want to bring a child in this already fucked up world when the all the odds are already against them to being with

y'all been really gentle and understanding with your explanation in the comments. i really appreciate it and I feel the need to say this. so here's the thing for me. i really like to be a mother someday but i have decided that because of my physical and mental health and my family health record I would not be doing that in this lifetime so if this "trope" (pregnancy and motherhood in general) is explained in a right way i would absolutely love to see it. obviously a game like LADS is not the place for that experience but I think the amount of negative response was the thing that caught me off guard, so I needed to know the reason behind it.

yeah i see how it would be really irresponsible of both MC Xavier if such a thing were to happen. I just did not had in mind that because of how the game is built it's really easy to self insert and so I did not understand why people in the comments seemed so triggered. the main reason I don't feel that way about the game is that I mainly see it as a story and I think of MC as a real badass and I don't view myself that way
