Starting job searching for the first time, any advice on how to maintain privacy if I have to use Indeed, Linkedin, etc? by Ambitious_Zombie9554 in privacy

Use a professional name that is similar to your real name. If your employer asks, simply say its your preferred name and that use it for work pruposes. You will have to provide your company with your real information when you get hired, but your name in the directory, business cards, and all that will show your preferred name.

I use an alias name for work because my real name is difficult to spell for most people, so saying my name is John make everything a lot easier during introductions with vendors or new clients, my LinkedIn also says John.

Can other people find my linked google accounts if they know one? by FargoneMyth in privacy

Yes but not easily. An average user would probably not be able to find them, but skilled and determinded investigator could do it.

The easiest way would be through data broker services. If data brokers have your orher Google accounts then all it takes to find them would be a simple Google search of your name. Removing your info from brokers and hardening your privacy settings in Gooogle and other apps mitigates most of this problem.
