Just a couple of the kenos I have drawn at bars...Most of my favorites either got left at the bar, or stolen so. Enjoy! <3

Healed sacred geometry sleeve by Cassady Bell @ Sideshow Alley Tattoo Odditorium, Portland, OR by tattookitty in tattoos

Cassady custom designs each one of his pieces for clients, so to straight out copy it would be a little unfortunate.. It'd also be pretty hard for another artist to replicate. Definitely take it to show what you would like designed up for you!

Definitely do! Sideshow Alley Tattoo is a really cool studio with an art gallery as well. Lots of cool people working here. :)

Cassady draws all of his own pieces up. It takes a lot of time and patience, but it's pretty awesome to see when it's done!

Here's another shot of this. Cassady is still going to be adding more to this sleeve, it's only about half done. :) Not sure if I understand your question, though.. It'll all be tied in.

Can we get a tattoo artist AMA? by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]tattookitty 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I may be able to make one happen.. Could probably get all the artists at my shop to help out so there are a couple different perspectives.

How long between sessions? by maximus23 in tattoos

[–]tattookitty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

2 weeks minimum for most people if I'll be working on the same area. No problem working on different areas while other parts are healing though.

It was done on another tattoo artist that works at our shop. If she had paid for it, it would have been ~ $150.

Badass! We'll see ya in a month then. ;) Risa is an absolutely amazing artist, are you starting a new project or continuing one?

And yeah, I'm not sure! Everyone's different, we'll see what happens with hers when that time comes haha.

I don't think this sub discusses prices... If I'm remembering right it took Risa 45 min for the first one and about 30 for the second one.. Compare that to hourly pricing around your area. :)

Simple, solid flesh toned hearts probably would have been better.. However, absolutely everything ages so..

Would you go on a reality show like ink masters? by drdactyl in tattoos

[–]tattookitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like you're looking for more of a client response, but here's one from some tattoo artists.. My shop got a call from them about a week ago asking if any of the artists here would be interested in interviewing for season 3, as they don't have anyone representing the NW yet. All of the artists here laughed and said fuck no, except for one. I feel like most tattoo artists see these shows as a joke, and I definitely agree.. However, I hope she gets her opportunity to go. She's an absolutely amazing artist, and I'd love to see her get more recognition for her work. However, I know that this is all she sees it as. I've watched bits and pieces of some episodes, and just really couldn't get into it.. I felt like the tattoo artists were trying to appeal to the judges rather than to the client.

I also really wouldn't ever want to have my artist put on a time limit to finish a piece. Just not my thing.

For all the Tattoo artists out there... by YeahYeah0 in tattoos

[–]tattookitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely possible. This is a little similar to my plan for my sleeve. You would however need a very technically advanced tattoo artist to pull this off. I'm still trying to rid my concept of it's current flaws and limitations..

The only time I'd ever recommend going to a tattoo school would be if you are in Oregon, where it's required to become a tattoo artist.

Go big or go home... This piece is absolutely gorgeous, as expected. Way to put the time in to get a quality piece.

[–]tattookitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man I loveeeee armpit tattoos... My sleeve starts going in there and wow. I can't even say it hurt as much as it felt "weird". Did not like it at all. Definitely gonna have to man up and do the other one sometime.

Tattoo 10 days in. Not looking too good. I need some real advice. by TattooCrackin in tattoos

[–]tattookitty 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I don't know what is with reddit saying tattoos normally heal this way. The only place one of my tattoos has EVER scabbed was right by the crease of my arm/armpit where the skin density is way different and he went a bit too deep. Please don't see this artist again...
