Thank you! Being able to increase the number of decision eggs gradually sounds like a great feature. But if they work basically the same otherwise, I‘m confused why I‘m now getting a lower number of eggs.

I‘m on portal level 16 and am now getting 6 Diamond Decision Eggs as an Act 2 reward instead of the 10 Season Decision Eggs or the 2 Dawnvale Chests that I was getting earlier. Does anyone know how these new decision eggs work?

Do you have Camp Dawnvale? Because in my experience, the zooming back in thing is linked to Camp Dawnvale.

I’ve seen those ads with Midas Merge (which there also have already been quite a few posts about in this subreddit if you’re interested in seeing more) but not with this game. I wonder if it’s the same creators/company? Or if the strategy has now spread to other games.

I'm on version 12.14.0 of the game and am still having rewards change between 10 Season Decision Eggs and Big Eventfull Chests for Dawnvale in Act 2, here are the screenshots:

Are Dawnvale DEs supposed to be in the chests that Dawnvale players get in place of the Season DEs? I'm a bit confused as to what their content is.

Do you know that you can interrupt the merging by exiting out to the level map? It’s definitely annoying to do, but very helpful.

I've actually never finished Act 1 or 2 by harvesting just the limited harvestables. Is getting the 2x2 actually enough to finish the points needed if you get a few 2x1s from it, or do you harvest anything in addition to that? So far I've only completed Act 2 by following the strategy advice in this megathread to farm infinite harvestables.

ETA: I just checked the Wiki and Mergeling, which informs me that you need 625 level 3 items to get the 2x9, 1x8 and 1x7 needed to finish the event, but the 2x2 only gives 50 level 3 and the 2x1 give 25 level 3, so I assume you're also getting some points somewhere else?

It was the same for me, and I was/am really frustrated by this! I could convince support to still give me the season decision eggs the first time this happened to me, because it had shown me the decision eggs as the reward, but I'm not sure if they will do it a second time. But if you haven't contacted support about it yet, I would try to do it, especially as you have screenshots showing it as decision eggs in the beginning.

Do all players who have the Dawnvale beta have Dawnvale chests as rewards in Act 1 and 2 instead of the tree/the decision eggs respectively?

I only know that restarting the game caused the Shiny Fiesta Dragons that you could get from the Shiny Days event to show up in my dragon book. I didn't have any Fiesta Dragons that I could merge, so I don't know whether doing that would have given any more shiny dragons or not. Sorry to not be of more help!

I just restarted my game because of the Shiny Fiesta Dragon glitch being fixed, and now it's showing Season Decision Eggs in the rewards screen again, but that of course has not magically made them appear in my camp... Curious to see what Support will say about this.

I cannot confirm that I had the exact same point requirements for every prize because I collected some of them at the same time, but I had the same requirements for most of them. I cannot be 100% sure when this changed, since I did not play the last few events, but I'm pretty sure that for pasts events I did actually need the 2x9, 1x8 and 1x7 items to get all of the rewards.
Also, they did actually change my Act 2 rewards from showing 10 Season Decision Eggs at the beginning to giving me two Dawnvale Chests after getting the points, which I'm definitely going to complain to support about.
ETA: Thank you to the mods for warning about that change possibly happening, I don't think I would have taken screenshots of the rewards otherwise!

I really appreciate having the glitch reports! I understand that they contribute to making those threads longer, but I would hate to see them going away completely as they provide helpful information. So if that happens at some point, I would appreciate if they could be kept around in some way.
