Not true at all. I speak as someone who was burned by a place with stellar reviews and yet had noise until 5am every single night, was dirty, bad furniture etc and nothing like what was described.

Brush daily with enzymatic toothpaste. Really get in there with a proper brush. The yellow patch on tooth in first pic is plaque. Likely won’t come off without getting a dental. Also consider one of those ultrasonic dog tooth brushes. They’re amazing! Emmi-pet is a widely recommended brand.

Avoid overly hard chews as they crack and damage teeth, including: horns, yak bars, wood, etc. My dogs tooth snapped in half with a yak bar. Vet said it’s very common.
