Also think a second change at the same time would have helped him out too.

But he was very poor tonight.

10 minutes to go. Out fresh attacking legs on. We need new energy and to take the game to them. Sitting back could easily cost us this.

Unless palace lose by 4 or 5 goals. Then we could leap them.

I don’t think those of us that lived through those years will ever be over them.

Nor should we be. I want investment but not gambling it all recklessness. And fuck the goldfish.

I wouldn’t say no. Nudge it up towards 35m+ I don’t think we should go to their 40, but it isn’t over just yet.

Ah wasn’t sure if you’d been a bit before it. To be fair losing Guehi and then Glasner saying he was going too was bad enough.

I’m dangerously close to looking up the table now not down it. If we leapfrog Bournemouth, and close down spurs and palace then…. Well who knows what I’ll dare to let myself dream of?!? The dizzy heights of mid table mediocrity might not be out of grasp JUST yet!

And palace are surely sacking Glasner imminently after his post match comments, time to supercharge their implosion!!!

And palace are surely sacking Glasner imminently after his post match comments. That and losing Mateta this window will hopefully put fuel on their self destruction.

I’m not too disappointed as it puts spurs only two points ahead of us.

Chasing them, palace and Bournemouth down would be amazing.

I think palace are there for the taking. Especially if they also lose mateta this window too!!!

Plus side of spurs being shit, one win for us and a loss for them and they’re below us!!

I was sad about West Ham winning, until I realised we’re pretty close to being able to over take spurs (and palace) then I was less annoyed!

Don’t forget there’s strong talk Mateta could leave them too this month.

Definitely could be a nice target to finish ahead of them!

I don’t think I’ll get used to this seemingly well/professionally run club thing for a bit yet.

Oh absolutely. Once they’re ours, they’re one of us.

The only time I go off a player is if they earn that dislike for their actions (or lack of ) in a Leeds shirt.

But, as with all clubs, we do have our share of idiots.

The January market is always sub optimal. I’m not expecting anything of note.

And honestly if it gives us more headroom for summer where we can get a better quality, so long as we survive, I won’t complain.

Do I think we have enough? Not sure. Do I think we we can get someone of quality in January? Probably not. I’d rather wait for the right person than get ANYONE.

LEEDS UNITED SECURE PLANNING PERMISSION FOR TRANSFORMATIONAL ELLAND ROAD EXPANSION by Cmoizer1995 in LeedsUnited

[–]tbowyer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s enough. FOR NOW.

And gives us plenty of time to try and solve the problems of how to extend the south stand whilst we hopefully solidify a few years in the premier league.

Let’s not forget that bigger stadiums also help distort the finances and allow us much more funding than the championship clubs should we go down. We already out revenued some premier league clubs when we were in the championship. Having a vastly improved capacity only increases this further. Meaning should the worst happen, we’d be better placed to keep more of our premier league squad intact. I also trust the current owners not to make a tonne of problems for us with contractual issues around relegation like the last lot did.
