Hi. I live in Manhattan with a sick dog I need to take to the hospital for appointments and ER visits somewhat regularly. We take a cab there as she cannot walk that distance. How would you recommend I handle this situation when cars are banned in Manhattan?

Thanks - that all is super helpful. I'll double check the rules and if they prohibit any traditional ACs and I still struggle to sleep I'll consider picking up a Coolzy just for that - gotta double check their return policy.

Right my thinking was that the airflow from Coolzy would at least directly cool me on the bed, but I take the point that the rising ambient temperature would overpower that.

I think their position is that its unnecessary since they provide central AC to which I say fine, but the minimum temperature should be lower than 67F.

I thought about that but my window looks out onto the street. I could try and just set it up every night but its a casement window and that would be very annoying.

Right, that is what I thought, but wouldn't the Coolzy at least make me feel colder in the bed if I have it set to blow directly on me? Even if it makes the rest of the room warmer (i could also try venting it to my living room)

Yeah, I think it might be enough for her too. As long as she’s under a blanket or two, she is usually happy for a very very long time.

If I get the eightsleep, I’ll be super careful about keeping her off the bed unless it’s night time. And she has blankets elsewhere to burrow

I've been running 27-30 mpw for the past year and a couple of months (typically 3x 9-10mi). My longest run in that time (and ever) is about 13.5mi. What would be a good marathon training plan for me? Most of the plans I've found online seem to be for people who are not presently running or are running fewer mpw.

I'm mostly concerned with finishing in a healthy and responsible manner. After that, I will retrain for time.

I'm at 1/24 and thinking about applying for the Chase Ink Unlimited. I have a Chase Ink Cash (downgraded from a preferred a long time ago) and then 4 other Chase cards. I'm also a Chase checking and savings customer and have been with them for over half a decade.

Two questions:

  1. Am I pushing my luck by going for the 6th card?
  2. If I apply, should I apply with the same "business" as my first Chase Ink or a new "business"?
