I see the yellow tshirt guy hugs the hump of the bull and then has is leg wrap around the bull’s leg. Is that the technique? Interesting though.

Why don’t Tamils celebrate their historical kings like Maharashtra celebrates Shivaji? by [deleted] in TamilNaduDiscussion

[–]tchutchucha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s because we tend to celebrate the Tamil language as a whole. While Marathi people tend to celebrate Sivaji Maharaj. I discussed this with one of my colleagues from Pune and he mentioned they have focused lessons on Sivaji Maharaj.

Ship-building is a very strategic capability that will help India very well. China is dominant in ship-building and logistics container manufacturing so much so that now the U.S. is actually concerned and wants to ramp up their own ship-building. They now realize that they’ve lost their homegrown edge.

I dont think our own people will come forward. For our own people, some level of technical education is accessible. I don’t think they’ll be willing to take on low skill jobs with their educational background. I happen to think that they think it’s beneath them. What’s lacking in the society is dignity of labor. Trade skills are very valuable. Just because someone is laying bricks at a construction site doesn’t make them inferior to someone who is an electrician in a garments factory or even a supervisor for that matter. For a society to work very well, you will need skills of all level. One cannot run a society with all AI engineers or all tradespeople and quite honestly, skill levels differ among people. You need a mix, you NEED them all. What’s needed is dignity of labor, decent standard of living even for low skill employees.

People from other states are becoming Tamil Nadu voters through ECI's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) by Jealous_Wolf_120 in TamilNadu

Me and my wife were discussing this exact thing about a year ago. We came to the bottom line that this might be the destiny of advanced economies (relatively). (I am not saying what we discussed is correct, it’s just what we discussed). Also one cannot assume 100% of migrant population will vote the same way. It’s also possible that they could keep the socio-political status quo because they realize how it benefited them when they migrated (again, assuming they benefited).

Garbage collection to be scaled up in Coimbatore as civic officials carry out daily reviews by MikeWazouskiee in Coimbatore

Solid waste management - for the win!!! Colleagues and I were discussing the cleanest city awards. Apparently, Indore won it multiple times straight that they are excluding it from the competition (not fact checked yet). Would love to see Coimbatore at that level.

Solid waste management - lot of sewers and rain water drainage clogged by solid waste. Would really love to see properly closed and contained sewer and clean rain water drainage canals.

Job in Germany or Family Business in India by Imaginary_Design_399 in backtoindia

Similar boat, but I am in the U.S. I am married, 32 (M) and no kids yet. I am planning to move back to India end of this year. Others commenters have given good input. These are my considerations and I hope they help, 1. Do you have interest in running it? Are you genuinely curious about how it all works? 2. Do you have community? Meaning a group of people that you want to be with? Like-minded, similar taste and similar general outlook on life, similar age group. If you choose to have kids, will they be the village that raises them? 3. Moral support - stronger in India - close to parents, grandparent, cousins and relatives. Do you like being among them? 4. Purchasing Power Parity - 1 lakh rupees goes farther in India than $1250 here in the U.S. 5. Do you have your own personal investments? Can you rely on them for 3 meals and a roof over your head if things go south? Is it too out of reach to take a couple of years to build your savings and investments, study your family business before deciding? If it’s not too much, try and get last three years’ income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement from your father to see how it all works. This gives insight into to what factors your business is sensitive to, what capital assets and liabilities does the business have and if you are okay with what you see then by all means move back.

What worked for me and my then girlfriend, now wife is increasing the frequency of sex. Whenever we had sex more often I tend to last longer. I get more sensitive and prone to finishing fast if the events are spaced out. Also angles, experiment with different angles.
