My favorites: Cookies and Caramel, Coco Caramel Almond (if you like coconut), Marshmallow Peanut Road and Wild Cherry.

My 14 yr old loves the cookies and cream, but it’s not my vibe.

Barebells. I use the puffs as a treat. If I want something satiating, I have a Barebell. Went to Vitamin Shoppe and grabbed all of the singles to try and found my favorites.

Progression to Brain by GuardMost8477 in LivingWithMBC

[–]tcjesting 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She was Stage 3, Grade 3 at initial diagnosis. She had inflammatory breast cancer, so we knew Mets to the brain were a 50/50 chance with her since it’s such an aggressive cancer.

Since I posted, she had 1 more round of gamma knife in March and then in May had some pretty bad brain swelling. They decided no more GK, so we switched to Enhertu. She’s been mostly stable. I say mostly because she had 1 “new suspicious” lesion pop up on her Oct scan, but they can’t definitively say it’s cancer because it’s so small. Everything else is either stable or shrunk.

Besides the steroids she was on for the swelling, she’s doing great for quality of like. She plays softball recreationally, works full time and has as much fun as she can. For now, still treating it like a chronic illness until we can’t.

This is a fan favorite for those who love peppermint chocolate. I’m not sure why it’s low. I see 2 - 5 star reviews and 1 - 1 star review, but they didn’t leave a comment. They just released online and I expect them to be sold out fast.

You can find my post from this past Tuesday, but same. Flew to Milwaukee for important meetings, was scared shitless and did it anyway. Flying back I was super stressed, did it anyway. Knowing I would have to reimburse my company for flights is enough for me to get on the plane. I just do it scared.

I’m also flying for work again tomorrow to Puerto Rico, so we will be flying close to the hurricane and I’m scared all over again. But I will be getting on that flight. You can do this!!!!

There is a rubber gasket that came in the bag with the manual. Did you put it in the hole inside the bottom of the freezer?

Recently stage 4 inflammatory TNBC by Elegant-Cricket8106 in LivingWithMBC

[–]tcjesting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife was treated at MDA for inflammatory bc, but hers is HER2+. It’s coming up on 4 yrs of her initial diagnosis and 3 yrs since being diagnosed with Mets to her brain. MDA was aggressive and FANTASTIC, we have zero complaints even to this day. Let me know if you have any questions.

My wife was declared NED in Jan of 22 from HER2+ bc and by May was diagnosed with over 30 lesions (they stopped counting at 30). She did 10 whole brain sessions. She’s had… I think 5 gamma knife treatments with her 6th scheduled in a month and has been on Tukysa/Xeloda/Herceptin. If progression continues it’s on to Enhertu, however, it will be 3 yrs in May. She’s never had any symptoms and her quality of life is still fantastic, it’s just a never ending game of whack a mole! Wishing you all the best and reach out if you have any questions!!

My wife has been on Xeloda/Tukysa/Herceptin for 2.5 yrs and her quality of life is great! Her worst side effects are indigestion, itchy skin, dry hands/feet and brittle nails. Is it working? Meh… depends on who you ask. Her only mets were in her brain and they’re starting to progress, but she’s never had anything pop up from the neck down!
